Right now in the case field creator you have to set the field to an option, making ‘count’ a useless command since even if I set the text ‘null’ by using the custom text, it still counts the field as having a value. I need the ability to actually set fields to ‘null’ in order to get an accurate count of the field I created.
Back again with another very simple quality of life design improvement for admins, this time with GS Home. As an admin, I would expect this functionality to be similar to other similarly-designed pages, where I have a trash icon next to the field that I’ve added from the source.Instead, I have to go back into the Add Fields button to de-select the field I’ve added. This is really unintuitive, and is not the same experience as when I’m in other features like Data Designer (see screenshots).I get that I can’t delete certain OOTB fields from this widget, but for the ones I add my own, showing me I can do this directly on the page is a super simple but effective enhancement. Please add a delete option for fields added to the My Portfolios widget directly within the field list view when editing the widget!
The new Task View is awesome, and is helpful to Gainsight Users who are focusing on their upcoming Tasks. One thing we’ve needed to warn our users of is that the Task View does not include CTAs which have 0 Tasks. Thus, some Gainsight users need to switch between a CTA view and a Task view to ensure they catch all their expected upcoming actions. Some view that incorporates Tasks, and also CTAs with 0 Tasks, would be amazing, making Gainsight Users more efficient by having one Cockpit view to monitor rather than multiple Cockpit views to cycle through.
We are attempting to sync back Company Person records to Salesforce Contact. SF Contact requires a value in the First and Last Name fields, so I need end users to populate the First Name and Last Name fields to the Add Person screen in GS.But since I cannot remove the “Name” field, this confuses end users. “Why do I have to enter the information twice?” “Why do you have the Name AND First Name/Last Name fields?”Also this
Posting on behalf of a customer,Currently In PX we have several knowledge Centre Integrations like Zendesk, Salesforce, Mind touch, Etc.An option for Integration with Freshdesk would also be helpful, some customers would like to display knowledge base content from FreshDesk on Knowledge Bot. Thanks,Srinivas.
Recently, I commented on a Timeline entry of a colleague because I needed more information. My colleague wrote the original entry, so she got an email notification. When she replied in a new comment in the thread, she did not @ mention me, so I never knew that she responded and just happened to see her response a week after the fact. I'd like to see our Timeline thread notifications' behavior mirror Slack, where a user gets notified of each comment that occurs after they post in a thread, regardless of whether they are @ mentioned or not.
In Data Designer, you can filter by Calendar Year and Quarter but not Fiscal. This would be great to have by Fiscal as we have our FY from 2/1 - 1/31 instead of calendar. In reporting, this can be done on FY so would be great to have this in DD filtering as well
I was wondering if there is a plan at some point to include a comment thread (similar to the one for SPs) for CTAs? This with the ability to @ people would help our CSM to collaborate on a specific CTA without spamming the Timeline with a new entry.
Hello there,If you look at the program analytics for a program, in the header, there is a click to open percentage. Also, If you click on a send email bar in the stepwise report, you also see a click performance percentage that calculates based on X clicked out of X opened. This is flawed because some companies email security softwares have the ability to block the tracking pixel from loading which is what records the open in Gainsight. So many clicks are being excluded from these calculations. For example, I am seeing 468 total clicks for one of our links in the click performance report. So I exported the click and open events from email raw events and found 664 total clicks for the same link.I did some additional validation and did a crosscheck to verify that these extra clicks were from contacts that did not have an open event recorded. Where does this data pull from? Doing some additional checking, Email Logs V2 seems to “assume” an open based on a click which is what I would want to happen. I drilled down to one email that doesn’t have an open event but did have “Opened” = Yes so that is the basis for my assumption. But that doesn’t seem to be happening for the data in the program analytics. I suppose the idea here is to view the click rate based on sends instead of opens. Or just make it more accurately display clicks since there are many being left out when it is based on opens.
I like the new data management UI in general, but I keep finding myself wanting to sort by column, and I can’t do it. I’d like to see sorting enabled at the object level, field level, and for the list of dropdowns. Thanks for considering!
Posting on behalf of customer. When you’re viewing CTA tasks currently the option to sync them to salesforce is showing up. At the moment there is no way to disable that. Some user might be confused as to why it’s showing up. In the future, having the ability to disable that would cut down on confusion for users.
We were excited about exporting success plans with the new 2.0 functionality, but find the lack of configurability to be a bit disappointing. I would love to have the following capabilities added. Anyone agree? Others you would add? Ability to edit color scheme to match our corporate .ppt template Ability to edit font type to match our corporate font Addition of status column to task line items Ability to include plan info Ability to include Gantt chart overall view of plan Ability to have multiple plan owners Ability to move and modify plan sections based on desired layout as a template, instead of manually manipulating each presentation Thanks in advance for your consideration!
Using a badge to launch an engagement is a better option to avoid an intrusive experience for a user. It is currently supported only for the “Guide” type. Enable it for others - Dialog, Slider, and Survey. Configuring the tooltip for a badge needs some enhancements - provide the same option as the tooltip for a KC bot.
We are trying to move towards using success plans rather than multiple separate CTAs for one project. This way we can track progress in one place that is easy to see and then compare usage data We want to be able to choose a linked object during rule action set up for success plans that would drop down into the objectives from the template chosen in the rule. Use Case: I have an implementation success plan template set up that I want to use in a rule that creates success plans once a new sale opportunity closes. I want to add the opportunity as a linked object in the Rule's Action Setup so that it populates in each of the objectives I have set up in the template. This way when an implementation consultant goes into the success plan, they can click objectives, select their first objective, and look at the sales hand-off notes from the related opportunity. This way they dont have to search for their assigned opportunity, search by the name, and add it manually.
I have worked with multiple customers lately who have been restructuring the Type and Reasons of CTAs framework and would like to know if it is possible to change the Type of some specific Reasons that they have today. For instance, one Reason called "MMM" which is in Type = All and would like to have it in the Type = Event As of now this is not possible, is there any thought to have this ability in the future? Possibly in Mass?
Hi Team,In Data designer for calculating % of active users the output field is just showing the value ex: 87 but not 87%.The client wants that widget to show the % symbol in widget. That is not possible via DD because we can have only numeric expressions as out put in DD and we can't exclusively mention that to be percentage.
We have standard naming conventions for our rules that are used as prefixes in addition to folders, but we also will add a JIRA ticket number before that for rules in staging, and sometimes version history Vx (v1, v2, v3, etc) to rules when we’ve iterated on them.Suffice to say that names can get lengthy. Are there more instances than not where you can’t see more than 20 characters of a rule name anyways? Yes, but that’s its own problem. Please give us more than 80 characters for rule names in rules (specifically Horizon Rules):Should they be shorter? Maybe. Do they need to be longer sometimes? Yes.Bionic rules seemed to be at least 100 characters, so it’s rather vexing to see this shorter - it doesn’t even tell how how much you need to shorten it by. One? Ten? Please increase the character limit, thank you!
When the user clicks outside the KC botThen the KC bot closes
The description field in Success Plan will not save snip/copy & paste images (like screenshot of all active contracts). There are options to format images so the functionality look to be there, but it's deleting the image once you hit save for that section. Would like to have the ability to save images in the success plans plan info section.
The new Horizon experience is awesome when creating a brand new dashboard, however, when attempting to modify existing dashboards due to process iteration, the experience becomes somewhat frustrating due to the adaptive interface. Would any of the following be possible?“Freeze” the location of reports as the dashboard is configured Return the classic UI ability to switch the location of 2 reports cleanly Drop widgets/reports into available space instead of at the bottom of the dashboard Toggle the adaptive UI vs freezingWe have several dashboards with 10+ reports, and the adaptive interface shuffling the location of most/all reports when trying to drag & drop adds significant time & effort to replace the layout before saving. Smaller dashboards are easier to work with - but the UI seems to be designed more for initial build than continuous improvement & iteration.
