Relatively minor in the grand scheme of things, but it would be a very nice QoL improvement to have the program filters (Status, Model, Type, Source) retained when refreshing or returning to the list at a later time. We have numerous stopped one-off programs that we don’t want to delete, but that have zero value and simply take up screen real estate when we’re attempting to check in on active programs. As of now, we either need to deal with it and scroll or set the filter each and every time. This not only puts it in product parity with other assets (i.e. Filters on the report list are persistent) but simply makes it easier for day to day usage.
I got an interesting question from a business unit, we created a new forum for a new product and they noticed the subscribe button. They then asked me "How many people are subscribed to this board?" I was not able to answer - Might be a metric that get is useful. If you think this something that could help you as well - consider voting this 'UP' 👍
Discovered this week that the Recycle Bin does not include CTAs that were deleted as part of a Success Plan deletion. Please enhance Recycle Bin such that Success Plans and/or CTAs deleted as part of a SP deletion are restorable. Recycle Bin really should include anything an end user can delete.
Use Case: In order to drive Risks and allow more granularity around reasons, I want to be able to establish a field dependency on CTA Reason, so that another dropdown field Reason Summary will only allow values that relate to the selected Reason.
With some of our 2026 key initiatives, we have a need to enable field level permissions in Gainsight. As we've been testing field level permissions in our sandbox, we've identified a big issue with this feature. Mainly, the fact that it means only those with superadmin level of access will be able to see any navigation that lives within the 'admin' navigation in Gainsight. For the most part, this is fine, however we do have 2 main use cases that apply to non-admin users who use very key areas of the administration navigation but we absolutely do not want to start handing out superadmin capabilities.Use Case 1:Our comms team and primary Journey Orchestrator admins will no longer be able to see Email Validator once we enable field level permissions. This seems like a very logical item that just needs to be moved under Digital Journey instead of Admin.Use Case 2:Last year we created a Reports & Dashboard Admin role in order to enable some of our analytics savvy managers and ICs to build their own reports and dashboards for special projects or use cases only relevant to small teams. This has allowed our admin team to focus on the larger/cross functional builds. While it appears that reports and dashboard build lives in the Insights section of the navigation, we found they also need Admin>Analytics>Report Builder and Admin>Analytics>Dashboard Builder in order to access these tools. This is a bigger concern for us as we want to be able to take advantage of our stakeholders self serving when they can. Our ask is for the product to move 100% of the insights navigation out from Admin...or somehow allow us to give just those admin capabilities needed and not full superadmin access.
BackgroundWhen Activity Timeline Job Runs, GainSight runs the following query on the Salesforce side:SELECT Id, SmallPhotoUrl FROM UserThis query is used to retrieve Owner/User information required for logging timeline activities. At present:No filters are applied All user records are retrieved The system validates existence of respective owner/user records While functionally correct, this approach presents scalability and performance concerns for customers with a large number of Salesforce users.Problem StatementFetching all User records without filters is not scalable for large Salesforce orgs. It can impact performance and increase API consumption unnecessarily when only incremental changes are required.Proposed Enhancements Support delta processing (e.g., based on LastModifiedDate) Allow configurable filtering (e.g., active users only) Introduce basic caching to avoid full reloads Business Impact Improved performance and scalability Reduced Salesforce API usage

I would like to see data on subscriptions:Who is subscribed Multiple subscriptions When they subscribed Unsubscribe info I cant push people to subscribe and have zero data to support if my efforts are working or not.
From the control environment I would like to be able to see the following:How many users are subscribed to each forum (category) Drill into this total number to see the list of actual users that are subscribed to each forum (category) and export this information to csv From the user profile, see which forums (categories) the user is subscribed to and include this information in the user export fileThis information would allow us to determine which forums are most popular with our users and which ones we may need to promote further or deactivate. It would also give insight to how many users are potentially receiving notifications for new posts in those forums to inform our content strategy.
In Journey Orchestrator (JO) programs, I’d like a capability to create conditional branches mid-flow.Why this is needed (example use case) Send the first follow-up email to the targeted customers. For customers who did not open the email, create different follow-up approaches depending on their stage: 2-1. Customers in the Adoption stage: trigger a call CTA (e.g., create a task / CTA for outreach). 2-2. Customers in the Onboarding stage: send a second email 7 days later. End the JO program. Expected branching criteriaFor example, the branch could be determined by checking a stage flag on the Company object (or another object) and splitting the flow based on that value.BenefitBeing able to branch within a JO program would enable us to execute more effective, context-aware actions for customers, instead of running separate programs or relying on workarounds.
When reviewing content, I would like to option to add multiple tags at once. Maybe separate by a comma or semicolon. That way I can just cut and paste the typical tags I like to add to posts. How do others deal with this? Vote this up if you would like this option.
Currently, there is an option to make the KC Bot draggable so that users can move it around the screen. However, this option does not currently work for users on mobile devices. We have more and more customers utilizing our platform on tablets and other mobile devices and the KC Bot covers essential UI features on certain pages. Please ensure that the knowledge center bot draggable option can be used on all devices to ensure accessibility. Thank you!
Struggle is that GainSight Assist does not show the CSNs so it's difficult to see which it gets assigned to in the end, given there often multiple CSNs for the same account in SFDC Appears to be a limitation with the GS product in that the feature pulls in possible name options based on what is put in the search. Having additional identifiers would be helpful. Nadine Hampal, Thanks for the wonderful idea to make the Gainsight experience betterto the users.
Normally, when you make a KPI widget and there is no data to base the value on, you would see such an icon, signalizing no data available: However, if the KPI is based on a Formula field (created in that report), in the exact same scenario you will see a 0% instead: This is largely inaccurate since imagine I am tracking how many Risk CTAs are closed:We might have 10 open Risk CTAs, and closed none - in this case 0% is expected as we are not performing as expected. But we might have no Risk CTAs at all, in this case N/A is expected, as 0% indicates a false warning that we are not acting on risk. Support already acknowledged this issue, so please fix this behavior to ensure that KPI widgets support formula fields properly.
It is important for the customer experience to be able to find information across multiple platforms via one search bar. With us, for example, we use Docusaurus to display our documentation. The knowledge base of inSided is currently too limited. But when community members search the community for certain content, you also want the documentation to be included in the search results. This increases customer satisfaction and is a very important feature for integration with other platforms. Maybe this is already possible, it would be really great!
Hi we are really interested to get Customer (based on user type) or User Search Keywords or Searches and count of searches that resulted in ZERO Knowledge Base Articles (hits) or any type of similar knowledge content matching for keywords used by user.We basically need to know what users are looking for (searches) in our Community as of knowledge which we haven’t included in our site so they get 0 hits or results. By identifying that we could improve and create the relevant knowledge which most users look for (that doesn’t exist already).I have already tried GOOGLE ANALYTICS and it is not helpful to identify by user groups and what we exactly need to get based on configurations we have already done in our Community. Also using 2 platforms and 2 databases (GA export and Insided csv export) and combining them together is also not straightforward and practical. So what we need is Insided csv export to include a criteria that provides us with search results (including keywords and number of times and user group) that resulted with zero hits (if possible further division into conversation/question/article - content type missing). This is kind of getting queries that results in 0 results to see what type of Knowledge content is required and what is missing and what audience seek. This is heavily useful feature for organizations to check their KCS and KBA strategies.Really appreciate your implementations with this and hoping to see this functionality via InSided :)
Currently the Skilljar integration includes courses in federated search, but not the individual lessons within those courses. We would like lessons to be included in federated search, as these smaller components will often contain the answer to questions. The specificity of the content is a better fit for the types of questions and searches we expect from our community.
I’ve just found out that the Content Overview (Beta) search algorithm doesn’t consider replies in its results, just titles and content. Feature suggestion is that it reviews all mentions of the keywords searched for. In the meantime, what is the best way to identify topics (best answers, comments included) with any keyword, for example if it all needs updating? We have our email address featured in lots and lots of best answers, and I’m looking for the most efficient way to find and update this topics.
We love the use of the Federated search in InSided, it makes a lot of sense to consolidate the different resources into one search for our customers. HOWEVER our community is open to people who are not customers and therefore do not have access to our customer specific eLearning courses and product knowledge base.. Like the dedicated categories that are invisible to certain roles, we want to ensure certain roles do not see, or at least are not presented with results that are both not relevant to them and they do not have access to anyway. As a workaround we’ve had to use some script on the search results page to:Preselect “Community” as a Source (And prevent deselection) Add a custom tooltip pop-up explaining the restrictionAnd the downside being that the results in the search preview still show content that is not available to certain roles. It would have been much simpler to enable the visibility of federated search results based on role as it is possible with categories.
