It would be great if we could create folders for goals to group similar items together and improve the library experience for our users! We have many product families, and we would like to be able to group by specific products. Currently, users have to type in the product name in order to group. A natural grouping would be helpful and less overwhelming.
As an international organization we have a substantial Arabic speaking audience and we'd love to be more inclusive and offer them the option to view content in Arabic.
Right now, the only attribute that is available in email campaigns is the recipient's username. It would be cool if we could have:any of the recipient's profile fields the community platform's name the community platform's URL (to create a hyperlink)
It appears you can’t do anything to a Notification folder once it’s been created. I’d like the ability to:Rename it Delete It Move It up or down (they appear to be in order of creation and not alphabetically, etc.) Move a notification from one folder to another
When end users click on the "View in Gainisght" link in Staircase it directs them to our gainsightcloud URL which they cannot login to -- We need the ability to redirect them through the CRM authentication.
Currently, two users can both edit a lesson at the same time and overwrite each other’s changes. This situation can lead to lost content. It would be better if the interface clarified whether someone else was editing the content or issued a warning when accessing or saving the lesson if someone else modified it since the user last viewed it.This idea is related to an overall version control system for content.
Hi Team,Creating this post on behalf of padalasai.kumar@cvent.com.Request: I'm exploring options to enhance our user feedback mechanisms. Currently, we have thumbs up and thumbs down icon in boolean survey, and I'm interested in knowing if it's possible to incorporate a 'maybe' thumb icon alongside these existing options (image attached for reference). If this feature is available, I would appreciate guidance on how to set it up effectively. In case it's not currently possible, could you please inform me if there are any plans to include this option in your future roadmap?Additionally, while I have considered using a 3-star rating survey to achieve similar functionality, I would prefer to avoid using rating surveys. Thanks & RegardsBhanu Gudivada

We need a global search functionality that allows us to find keywords across the Timelines of ALL accounts simultaneously. For instance, I want to be able to search for "Competitor X" or "Feature Request Y" and see a single list of every customer and Timeline activity where that term was mentioned. The current search is confined to the specific C360 page you are on, which makes it impossible to identify cross-customer trends or systemic issues without manually checking every single account.
The success plan list view is great, and the ability to have custom views is nice BUT why are there no advanced filters like on the cockpit custom views? Our enterprise CSMs need the ability to filter their book of business by the ECSM field we have on the company object as they are not owners on 100% of the success plans tied to the accounts they oversee. While that is one specific ask, I can see additional advanced filtering being a huge benefit for our teams.
We are experiencing that some users are sending spam as Direct Messages to other users on the platform.I realized that those users are always new ones or with no interactions in the platform.I would like to have the possibility to restrict which users have permissions to send Direct Messages using certain roles, this way we can say that the role “New to the community” does not have the ability to send DM. Cheers,
There is a community post about this: However, there doesn’t seem to be an existing IDEA about this.Using an API is not an acceptable solution, nor is duplicating an event. We have weekly recurring webinars for several of our products, manually duplicating them and reposting is too much overhead. This doesn’t seem like it would be exceptionally difficult to implement and would save your customers tons of time...
We have a program which is set to welcome new users to our tool and provide resources on how they can get started. The issue is however, we want for this email to be sent out as soon as their license is provisioned (data already syncing into Gainsight CS via Rules Engine every hour).Currently audience criteria only allows a sync once a day and to overcome this we would need to leverage the Events Framework which requires API knowledge, a IPaaS, and isn’t the best documented part of the platform.By allowing for us to sync audience to a program every hour, we can create better moments for our customers without the need of additional technical complication.
I’ve started building out programs in Dynamic JO recently, and have run into some annoyances.IssuesAudience auto-syncs with single uniqueness criteria Can’t edit source name once addedDetailsOnce you add a new source, it immediately starts syncing – you have to wait for it to complete the auto sync before you can update your advanced settings (Uniqueness Criteria, Mandatory Fields, anything else). It also tends to automatically pick an email address (sometimes) for the recipient, and when it looks to send to the CSM email for an external JO, I’m a bit confused. This forced delay makes me end up having to task-switch, which leads to inefficiencies in my workflow. If we’re cloning a JO (ex: testing), it seems like we have to jump through hoops to get the source name to not say “TEST_Lorem Ipsum Program name” – which doesn’t look great when we’re trying to build our programs and keep JO names clean. The askCould someone explain the logic for autosyncing the audience and locking the source names? This all feels like it was easily achievable in Advanced JO, which makes it all even MORE frustrating. I’m liking the wins in Dynamic JO (particularly the ability to have an evaluate step with multiple branches before an email step), but there’s so much I miss from advanced JO.Audience View
There’s so much room on the Rule Chain page, why can’t you show the full name of rules? We tag our rules with a version number, and not being able to see the version number in the list of the rule chain at-a-glance is really silly, especially when there’s the entire half of the page that’s not being used. These rule names are truncated unnecessarily.Improve the admin experience and decrease whitespace by showing the full name of the rule in the rule chain page
Currently, Gainsight does not allow users to generate live links to Community posts before they are published. This limitation creates challenges when preparing communications, updating tickets, or coordinating with stakeholders, since we can’t provide the final link until after content is live.Request:Please add functionality that allows admins to generate a live, shareable link in advance of publication. This would enable us to: Include correct links in pre-scheduled announcements and tickets Streamline internal review and approval processes Ensure launch-day communications are accurate and efficient Can you confirm if this functionality is on the roadmap or if there are any workarounds available today?
We receive many complaints from our learners about having to adjust the playback rate of each video. For example, if I like to listen at 1.25x, I have to do that for every video lesson as I progress through the course. Learners expect the system to retain their preference as they move from one lesson to the next. It’s tedious and time-consuming to make this adjustment one lesson at a time. Thanks for the consideration!
In the existing Advanced program, I can bring in a picklist field from an external source (Salesforce) as a String. In the new experience, I need to create a Gainisght drop-down and map it in order to use the audience field for any Evaluate steps. This is extra steps when creating an audience and unnecessary tech debt to maintain with the external source. Additionally, when mapping the picklist in the Audience, the list to select a drop-down is not in alphabetical order and cannot be searched with keywords.
Please continue to support branching based on the status of the CTA in the previous step in the new Program. According to this ticket, it is no longer supported: 296992We have many CTA statuses that could cause different next steps within a program. Today in the existing program, we can use the previous step and select the Status Reporting Category. The only option in the new program is CTA not Closed or CTA Closed. We need to rive different actions if the CTA was successful or unsuccessful. Bonus if we could do this in an evaluation steps and pick ant CTA attribute instead of just the status reporting categories, but at minimum we need to distinguish on reporting category.
In the existing Journey Orchestrator Advanced programs, we can have calculated fields that are a rich text field type. We use this most often for our email signatures, to ensure the emails are going from the currently responsible person instead of the person who was responsible at the time the participant list was created. According to ticket 302972 this is no longer supported in the Dynamic Journey Orchestror Programs. Please continue to support this crucial functionality.
I’ve been running into issues where we have users in my environment that have duplicate Usernames but different SFDC User IDs, however when I compare them to their Salesforce counterparts the usernames are different. I have to assume this is due to some upstream issue - changes made in SF that are out of my control and/or occurred before I came here - but this causes issues for me because the Salesforce Connector user job won’t allow me to use the SFDC UD as an upsert key, so I end up with partial failures related to the duplicate usernames (my upsert key). When I run into these types of situations my only recourse is contact Gainsight support to delete the user for me. I need more control over my user table with the ability to delete users.
Enhance the current AI Follow-Up functionality to generate richer, more actionable call summary notes. —similar to the capabilities available in Microsoft Teams Premium.Proposed Enhancements: Categorize Topics Automatically group discussion points into relevant categories. Provide a structured, easy-to-scan summary rather than a flat transcript-like recap. Include More Details Add supporting context for each discussion point (who raised the topic, rationale, key data mentioned). Take note of action items for attendees other than the meeting organizer Include a list of action items for other people other than just the meeting organizer.
I'm not sure if this is on the roadmap, but I'm finding a lot more applications are coming with out with night mode, or dark mode. I'm wondering if Gainisght has any plans to do so in the future. The white background with grey/blue text is hard to read at times and I have to keep my brightness extremely low to use Gainsight at times.
We are using the Snowflake Connector to fetch data from Snowflake. It supports password authentication and OAuth for the authentication method. However, Snowflake is persuading to use key-pair authentication for its service accounts. Our company's security policy also prefers key-pair authentication for Snowflake service accounts whenever possible. It would be appreciated if the more secure authentication would be available.
