It would be great if admin, through the mass edit feature, could update the company associated with a CTA. This comes up constantly as needs change, merges occur, or accidents happen.
It would be fantastic if we could copy data pulls within the data designer and rules engine. Use case examples:I need to pull all opportunities that are closed won in the last 30 daysI also need to pull all opportunities that have a close date within the last 30 daysI need to merge these and analyze themThe goal here would be to COPY the first pull and be able to edit it I need to pull information about timeline with a specific filterI need to pull an additional item with a different filterAgain, ideally, we could copy this This would be amazing for complex data designs and rules.
It would be splendid if, across the platform, we had terminology used the same way. Example: on reports, you find last month. In rules engine, you find previous month. While these items mean the same thing, it can be difficult to consistently need to translate wording when in different elements of the platform.
When doing a merge, could be possible to allow searching just like we do with filters? The space to display the full name of a field is too small, they are not displayed in alphabetical order, and is not possible to type to search... trying to find the correct field is very frustrating and time consuming: we have to scroll down and hover over each field until we hit the correct one:Meanwhile, finding those same two fields in a filter is a super easy and frictionless experience:
Has anyone else experienced this? For some of our programs, out of office/automatic replies are sending to the From Address and not the Reply To address. Is this common - and is this as expected?
Description:We frequently need to update use case dates in Gainsight, and manually selecting the current date each time requires multiple clicks. A "Today" button within the date picker would significantly streamline this process, allowing users to set the date to the current day with a single click.Use Case:Currently, when updating dates in Gainsight, users must manually scroll through the calendar to select the correct date. This process is time-consuming, especially when handling multiple updates. A "Today" button would eliminate extra clicks and improve efficiency.Proposed Solution: Add a "Today" button within the date picker UI. Clicking "Today" should instantly populate the date field with the current date. Maintain existing manual selection functionality for other date options. Benefits: Reduces manual effort and time spent selecting dates. Improves user experience and data accuracy. Enhances productivity, especially for users handling frequent updates. Would love to see this enhancement considered! Let me know if any additional details are needed.
All,For efficiency and admin QoL:CS survey questions should be translatable at the question level instead of the survey level. Why: saves us having to translate a question x the number of surveys in which it appears and saves huge time on maintenance too. That’s literally the baseline principle of a TMS and we could perhaps learn from that.I’m currently migrating surveys from relationship level to company level and I’m having to retranslate questions that are already translated in the relationship survey… wouldn’t have to if questions were translated in the question library. ThanksA
The operation for Find User by field / value only works for some preset profile fields, not any custom profile field. API response from Find User by field / valueSupport should be added for custom profile fields or an additional operation should be added that allows this. Sample use case: Alternate/secondary email ID - collected in a private profile field, there’s no way to find a user by the custom field to collect this information
Ability to edit account name from timeline when wrong company is chosen from Gainsight Assist instead of deleting and creating another one.
To update the breakdown table in a report with no matching records (a frequent issue with 'CSM = Current User' filters), we must perform a cumbersome workaround: temporarily modify filters to display a record, run the report, adjust the breakdown, save, and then restore the original filters and logic. This process is highly inefficient. The breakdown table is only editable when the report displays at least one recordAllowing breakdown updates without displayed records would be a much better user experience and save us some clicks and time. EG: Show header even if there are no records matching the criteria
I would like to be able to “stage” articles in their correct Categories for internal review. Also, we have “internal-only” product content that should reside in the same place as publicly accessible content (such as internal v. external release notes).
Hello Community!I’m you friendly Gainsight Support Agent, submitting this Feature Request on behalf of a customer: Some of our CSMs would like to add the calendar activity that goes back to 60 days and so but they are not able to see the calendar activity for more than 30 days back and they are not able to see calendar activity more than 60 days in the future also. Is there a way to change that or is it a limitation in Gainsight? Gainsight Support has verified that Calendar Widget in Gainsight Home will only show the last 30 days and the next 60 days' events; there is currently no way to change these values. The customer would like to be able to change these values or have a broader range of dates available to them. Please continue this discussion below and Upvote this Idea if you, too, think this Idea should be pursued! Thank you for your time.Emily Bell - Enterprise Technical Support Analyst
Let’s say I create a user guide with say 20 sections (categories) for a product that has yet to launch. I want to “hide” all those categories from public view until we launch the product. Unfortunately, to make them visible publicly, I have to modify the permissions, one at a time. This is tedious and labor-intensive (and times a lot of time).
As a Gainsight NXT user it would be great to be able to have a direct link to the lead for CSQLs. Right now when I build reports for our CSQLs from the lead object, the only way for CSMs to get to the lead is to click on a link for the company and then navigate to the CSQL tab and then find the correct one to open. Would make a much smoother user experience if I can provide that link in a report and be able to open it up right from the report and get to the CSQL lead.
The addition of sections in the community content hierarchy is a big improvement. It has made it much easier to organize categories and guide users to the right content. Thank you. I would like section pages to support curated content like the category pages. A couple reasons for this:With the addition of sections, we move previously top-level categories under a section. Users accustomed to the curated content resources at the top of the category page are confused when the section containing the category lacks the curated content. Sections and categories should have the same capabilities to create a consistent experience for users and administrators. For example, every section and the categories within it may feature the same or similar curated content. I’m not looking for the curated content settings to be inherited by sub-categories. I’ll manage each section and category’s curated content independently.Thanks,@davetee
If we make a new field on Customer Goals and use the rules engine to populate the field, it is not able to be “required” without support populating “soft deletes”. This causes an issue due to the timing, but additionally removed the ability for admins to manage the feature completely. Note - deleted Customer Goals do not show in report builder, so there is no way to identify. I had to open a support ticket to understand why I was getting this error even though my report was showing no records as null with the field I was attempting to require. It should be easier for us to evolve Customer Goals without needing to engage with support to run backend processes that appear to be addressed when running validations.
When viewing a dashboard, a user can maximize (expand the window to full size ) a standard report. However, for widgets, pie charts, etc. once the user opens the drilldown, there is no option to then maximize/view the drilldown report at full screen. Our users prefer visual data style reports within a dashboard and will utilize the drill down for details. Could drill down reports be given the options to maximize/expand to full screen?
I’m running a rule to load to Gainsight objects and when running a test, it all runs great! But when I push a full run (which I may wait for a scheduled run time to execute), it fails because not all of the required fields are added for the load to object. Can we please change the “Test Run” to actually test all of the validation rules on the actions. Thank you :)
When you make your community private, the only page that is visible for a non-logged in user is the login page. However this login page cannot be customized much; you can set a background and add a short text. It would be handy to be able to customize this login page further or create a custom page that can be made public where we'd be able to customize it with banners, widgets and texts that would introduce non-logged in user to the community and see if it is relevant for them to create/request an account.
As customer bases grow and resources remain limited, scaling Customer Success (CS) effectively has become a top priority for organizations. In our recent webinar on Digital Customer Success, we explored how companies can leverage digital-led strategies, automation, and a pooled CS model to drive efficiency while maintaining high-quality engagement. 🚀 Why Digital CS Matters: The Need for ScaleScaling CS is no longer a luxury but a necessity. Data Designer (and rules engine) do not support “cascading” a field added post design to all tasks in a design (in the branch that goes down) when there is one or more Union tasks in the design. We were unable to automatically cascade the newly added fields because Design Hierarchy contains the following task type that is not supported. UNION. Please add the fields manually to the subsequent Datasets Might we ask that:Union tasks be supported in the cascade featureORCascading is performed all the way down to the task preceding the Union task (at least). Currently, cascading simply doesn’t work at all and that would be better than nothing. Cascade Add functionality in Data Designer | Gainsight CommunityThanks!
When creating versions in a Journey Orchestrator template, it would be great to have the ability to either delete the “Default” or the option to make another one of the versions the default. I used it to create a few different drafts of an email for approval and now that we have decided on one of the email templates it doesn’t allow me to get rid of the default for the version I am wanting to use.
If you ever had a profile with us, there's no need to create another one.
