Hello Folks! I'm attempting to build out a guide engagement in PX, and I have 1 dialog and a few tooltips beyond it. On each tooltip, I'd like to add the option to exit the tour, or say 'got it' or whatever button text, but the option to select Exit Button is greyed out until the last step in the guide. Is there a means to include an exit on each step?

The docs needs to be updated to let the customers know that "When they query the audience using the query builder, they need to select the Continent under the Inferred location section and not the continent under the "Location and Account Location". If they apply the remaning sections, the customer will not view any user records. thanks, Avinash.

Issue: I was working with a customer who had a graphical report that was categorizing a situation into High, Medium, Low,NA via the could of a field. She wanted to see if the field display order was able to be modified because "Medium" was showing up in the far left instead of the middle. After trying a few different things it does not look like you can sort aggregated fields in report options -- is this expected? What does "Other" indicate in the Product Analyzer flow? Are they unmapped features? If they are, how can I map them out so my path is clear?

Hey everybody, This question came up while a customer was testing a new feature. While trying to verigy it was working correctly they were not seeing this feature in the analytics. This is because with the filter "Last 7 days", today is not included. If you add a custom filter to include todays date you will now see data.

There a numerous objects for scorecards. Though, I have two scorecards that I would like to report off of in the same report. What is the best object for me to do this from or do I need to create a data space to combine my two scorecard objects together?

I am trying to create CSM's Manager dashboard that will shows CTA's owned by their direct report CSM. CSM is captured as lookup user field on every account in salesforce and mapped using derived fields to the company object. This was setup during implementation and works perfectly. What I am trying to do now is get the CSM's Manager added as well, so that manager dashboard filters can be added automatically. I tried the derived field and no luck getting the data to sync over. Any ideas how to get this working. Instead of creating a new user lookup field on the account object in salesforce, I created a formula field to get the Manager SF ID from the CSM User lookup field. Mapped this as the derived field using gainsight connect. I tried the derived field and no luck getting the data to sync over. Any ideas how to get this working. Check the screenshots below. I have a measure that can be 0,50,70 or 100. When I filter on that measure's previous score=100 and current score less than 100, I only get 1 record (this particular record is correct) when I know I have many records that have changed in this way (based on a timeline report showing this measure's scores updated from 100 to a lower score on many records). Any nuances with these field types that I should consider or any idea why this is happening? I don't have a date filter or any other types of filters applied in addition to this one.

We're making some improvements to how you search on support.gainsight.com and how our product documentation is organized. On Mon. evening Pacific time, we'll be rolling out some changes to the site appearance, updating search functionality, and revising the site structure. By Tues. morning Oct. 1, the changes will be complete!   On the new home page, first you'll select your Gainsight product: CS (Customer Success) and then the NXT or Salesforce edition PX (Product Experience) RO (Revenue Optimization) Then when you search by keywords, you'll see results only for that product and edition. For example, if you're a CS SFDC edition customer, you won't encounter articles for NXT; or if you're a PX customer, you won't encounter articles for other products. Currently while we integrate SFDC with the PX, we have only the 4 types supporting (String/integer/ boolean/ number). While we search for the fields in the SFDC to map, the lookup fields doesn't show up. We should enable the "lookup" fields also to show up for mapping. Can we add the Lookup(alphanumeric ID) also to be mapped with the string type in the integrations.

Hi folks, One of our growth initiatives is to have numerous out of product nurture campaigns. We have open and click rates from our email providers, but want to track and launch an engagement once logged in within GPX. We've tried utm referrals with emails sent from Hubspot and Sparkpost. We've experimented in the following ways, but still haven't had any luck: Shortening the UTM Placing the full and shortedn UTM link with attributes as the "URL" and the "Referral" Removing the UTM all together Has anyone else experienced the UTM breaking or not being respected when triggering an engagement?

I have created a renewals dashboard that pulls in data from both the Company and CTA objects. When I view the dashboard myself, it looks correct based on all the filtering criteria I applied to the reports. But when other CSMs view the dashboard all of the CTA based widgets display way more data than they should (like old CTAs that are closed, for inactive accounts, or not related to renewals at all), so they're not obeying the report filters. I have a ticket in for this and suspect that part of it may be due to the fact that we have conititional sharing rules set up at the Company level but not for CTAs, but that still doesn't explain why the dashboard shows up correctly for me (an admin that isn't affected by those conidtional rules) and not the rest of my team. Any ideas?

I recently worked with a PX customer that needed an automated way to enable Engagements within their Production environment. Their high-level, immutable requirement was as follows: When a fully tested and approved PX Engagement is ready to be enabled within the Production environment, no additional manual editing of the PX Engagement is permitted as part of our fully automated (scripted) Production deployment/update release process. If you do not already know, there is not currently an Engagement API available to can be used to modify/update and existing Engagement. When this Engagement API is available in the future, other options will be possible. For the given scenario, we were able to suggest creating a feature on a Submit button, then use that feature in the Audience Condition along with URL. This allowed the user to follow the specific steps and only see the engagement once complete.

You can edit the default page, but you can't remove the 'survey' opt out category. This allows for contacts to think they're opting out of surveys, but given that our surveys are deployed from another system, they are not opting out. You can create a custom preference page and can remove the survey opt out category (contrary to the documentation) but you can't remove the reasons or the number of reasons. Why isn't is possible to to have an opt out page that doesn't ask for reasons? Why is it not possible to have 3 reasons instead of 5? Why is it so limited? Gainsight controls too much of our customers' experience for opting out.

Is there a means to integrate video hosting sites, like Vidyard? The use case I have is we have videos/webinars that we'd like to include into the Knowledge center bot, under it's own category. I could add them all manually, but that's kind of a pain, and a gap wherein any updates/removals to the existing content on vidyard might break things unless I manually go in and change it myself.

While clicking on CTA detail view we will get to know the list of tasks in it, I want to know the list of CTA's which has email Tasks in it? I am I missing anything here? Is there any configuration for this?

Has anyone configured a conditional wait using a calculated field for a date? For example, my conditional wait criteria is making sure that contract end date is at least 120 days away, so in my current configuration, I have Contract End Date >= Next N Days 120. Is that going to filter out the way I want to? Any insight appreciated! My first attempt at conditional waits with calculate fields.

A few days ago I posted a support ticket for the "DateDiff" function within a transformation as it was not allowing me to select "Weeks" from my units of measure and ONLY Days. While the documentation online states there should be many selections for this function (Days, weeks, months, etc), it was not appearing and there are time-sensitive deliverables for me (Admin) that required this information to be calculated properly. Not only did we derive a solution, but I also was able to learn a valuable thing about GS that perhaps I missed or overlooked in training, and here it is: You can perform and data transformation on an existing data transformation! (cue heavenly choral singing!) So since we were able to only derive Days from the function, GS Support created a second transformation that converted the initial one to weeks by dividing the previously established DAYS by 7.
