Hi folks, We have a team who currently use Google Analytics, and will be moving to PX shortly.  I haven’t been able to find any support docs or community posts relating to this process being completed before, but I’m interested to know if anyone in the community has made this switch before and can share any best practices or learnings they took away from the process? Thanks, Stuart

Hi Community!Any suggestions on how to create help text for custom fields on a Success Plan?Things I’ve tried:Doesn’t look like I can create a non-editable, static rich text field with a default value.  Field name limited to 45 chars Description text for a field not shown anywhere, except when editing the custom field Calc field (string or rich text field) has some strange behavior, but might work … it only displays about 50 chars of text, but then has bubble popup that shows much longer text.  Note:  this bubble popup is what I’m looking for if I can’t get a field with full text displayed. Field name has a bubble popup, but only shows field name and not descriptionI can’t be the first person wanting this capability, so I’m either missing something or need some creative solutions to resolve … Thanks!Mark

Does anyone have advice for auditing historic posts? Our team’s concern is having older posts out there that may contradict our current product guidance. Is this a process that other communities typically undertake, or do most just leave them as is?

I want to create a report to show all customers who have yet to have a CTA created for them. When I go to report I can only pull data on those who have had closed or assigned CTAs. It doesn’t show me the accounts without any closed or created CTAs. The goal is to have this available to all CSMs on my team so they know which clients need a CTA created. In turn once the manual CTA is created, we have a rule in place to auto schedule new Lifecycle CTAs every 90 days.  Any thoughts on how to do this? I am new to Gainsight and may be overlooking something.  Thanks!

Testing out the Gainsight App for Zoom Integration - we manage customers on the R360 in all cases.  On the App in Zoom - I see Timeline, Scorecard, and Relationship Person.  Is there a way to surface summary\attributes or other R360 tabs? In the help examples, I saw at least Attributes - but those were at the C360 Level. Thanks!

Hi teams, often times I get a request to provide a list of all active CTA for a specific group/teams but there are several teams with a variety of CTA’s. What is a best practice or report to get this information? I also get this request for playbooks, is there a report I can run to show all playbooks available?

Hi Teams, I’m looking for recommendations on how I can create a group for my micro team to round robin CSQL’s. Our micro accounts don’t have an assigned individual account owner but a group instead, so when action needs to be taken on a micro account it gets assigned to the account owner group “Micro teams” and then the task automatically gets round robined in Salesforce and sent to a micro csm team member who is next on that list. Can this grouping be available to be selected/added in the lead owner field ?

Do browser refreshes (typically IT security managed browser refresh actions) count as logins? If so, does that affect HAU metrics?

In the old C360, I used a string field from the Company object that contains a unique url to to our product for the particular company the CSM was viewing in C360. The unique url contains html code (see below example) at the beginning and end that caused it to display as a hyperlink with a simple and clean label ‘Login’. It worked perfectly. The CSM would simply click ‘Login’ and a new webpage would open and take them directly to the product login page for that particular company.<a href=”unique url example.com” target="_blank" >Login</a> It appears that string fields with url’s are no longer allowed in the new C360 so I had to create a new URL data type field in order to display the login url as an attribute. It’s a very long url so It’s not pretty to display it. I’m curious if there is a way to create a custom label for url’s so I can display ‘Login’ again like I had it before?

IntroductionThis guide outlines best practices for transitioning from Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to Gainsight PX. While both platforms offer valuable insights, Gainsight PX is specifically designed for product analytics and user engagement, making it a powerful tool for product-led growth strategies. 1. Understand the Key DifferencesBefore migrating, it's crucial to understand how Gainsight PX differs from GA4:Focus: PX is product-centric, while GA4 is web/app-centric User Identification: PX ties data to actual users, GA4 uses anonymous client IDs Engagement Tools: PX offers native in-app engagement features Data Freshness: PX provides real-time data, GA4 has some processing delay Integration: PX integrates with customer success and CRM tools2. Audit Your Current GA4 SetupList all custom events and conversions you're tracking in GA4 Identify key metrics and KPIs you're currently monitoring Review any custom dimensions or user properties you've set up3. Map GA4 Events to Gainsight PX Even

Situation:Imagine that in the community there is only two groups. If user joins one group and one group only, the Groups page layout, especially when using desktop, changes and it looks not_so_professional. Meaning, there is one group in the top row and other group under of it.I understand, first one is the groups you are joined and below are the new ones you can join.Question:Is it possible that the group “cards” remains in a same row, all the time, no matter are you joined or not?Edit: I have deleted the phrases/titles “My groups” and “Find a new group”, because, as said, there is only two groups and it is obvious for the users.

Hi dear Community!I’m struggling with the localization, so I need your opinions. Gainsight introduced this functionality -  So now, when we enable a language in the settings, there’s a toggle in the Destination, and some of the phrases are automatically translated: What should be a good next step to get the rest of the pages translated? There’s this disclaimer in the settings:but I just can’t figure it out how to localize the categories and control what users see when they switch the language. Curious to hear how you do the localization.

Text editor works nicely, generally speaking, but I would like to know what is the best way to edit the quotes? If there is quote after quote after quote, and you want to delete for example the first quote, in this case I want to delete Leo´s comment, what is the best way to do it?I have to activate correct “field” in the editor and then I can delete it? Where to press, to activate correct “field”?When I use mobile I find this more difficult. I have to tab several times “there and there”, to find the correct place to activate correct field to remove quote from the post.(Sorry horrible quality)   I think I have to get this “bolded” blue frame and then when pressing backspace I can remove Leo´s comment? What is the best way to get this bolded blue frame when using mobile device?

Hi Team,We are trying to get user data in our Insided instance but are getting a CORS error. Here is the API we are using: https://api2-eu-west-1.insided.com/userPlease let us know if there is another API we should use or how we can bypass the CORS issue with the current API.Thank you!

We have customized the phrases on our community error page. Can we customize the appearance of the page? Change out the image for something more in keeping with the look of our community?

I want to manage new users and subscriptions in another app, push new users to a googlesheet, then add or update those new users in Gainsight CC.  Is that possible?

Our community is currently limited to customers only (although we’ll be moving to a hybrid community soon). When a customer user departs the organization, they can no longer log in since everything is gated by SSO. However, they still appear in the roster as an active user and contribute to our overall user count. This has a negative impact on our metrics, particularly (1) Time since last login and (2) % of users who are active. How have others handled this? Do you simply keep them in the roster, or do you periodically audit the roster and remove users as needed? Also, in SFDC we can mark a user attribute called “No Longer with Company”. Can we utilize the SFDC x Gainsight integration so that anyone who has this attribute checked who is also a registered community user would be removed from the roster?

Hi folks,Is there a way to allow unlimited edit time for all users, regardless of custom roles? For technical reasons with the SSO, we can’t use custom roles. I just want to turn on unlimited editing for all registered users. Is there a way to do that?Any insights appreciated.Mark

When users search for another user, the search results don’t seem to serve up people/user profiles. Am I missing something? How would a user go about doing that?

To those of you who have an open community and allow for your prospects to join your community, what rank are you giving them in your community? I was thinking about creating one called Prospect but wanted to see if there are any other good ideas. Thanks!

Hi team,We’re asking our users to do a contact cleanup effort in the next few weeks and to do that, quite a few users mentioned that ideally they would have a place (ie: a tabular report in a dashboard) where they could see all contacts from all company records assigned to them and be able to edit them without having to go to the C360.If I remember correctly, inline editing in reports now exists but it’s limited to low volume custom objects and cases, right? Is there an alternative I’m missing? or is the only way having them going to each account’s C360 individually? Thank you!
