Hi community.I’d love to know if anyone here is using the Gainsight PX product in their GS digital hub?We’re just getting set up and the embedded widget inside PX is pulling through community content. It’s very cool.However, I can’t seem to find any analytics specific to the community content in this widget i.e. how many users click through to the community, how many users click and read community articles from inside the widget etc. Anyone able to shed some light? @Alistair FIeld  may I suggest a group here in this community of customers who are using other products in the GS suite so we can share best practice…? The Salesforce integration matches users to contacts / community member objects based on email address. I have a common use case for updating user profiles with new email addresses after they have switched companies. Often they have created a duplicate user profile with their new email and they reach out asking if they can update their old one, so that all their points, badges, status, etc are tied to their new email. Here’s what it looks like with the Salesforce integrationUser A Email A (original email address) Salesforce record A is matched based on email A User B Email B (new email address) Salesforce record B is matched based on email B Here’s my question: When I update the emails to switch which user they belong to, does the Salesforce integration still write to the same record, or does it re-match to the the record with the correct email? U

Hey team, The ‘default’ Insided/Gainsight menu structure (even with all the customization options in the mega-menu) is really not working for our users. It’s too many options, confusing and hard to navigate. So we’re casting a sideways glance at coding a custom navigation.Before I get my devs on it though, I thought it’d be worth it to ask if anyone has done this before? Looking for any examples you’d be willing to share and tips&tricks on how you worked this out :) Key things for me: making sure it appears on all pages, ensuring the profile button (and dropdown) is available, as well as making sure any elements we code in don’t interact negatively with the already existing code on Insided/Gainsight (native to the community). Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

I’m seeing a user with negative 20 points in my user dashboard view for last month. How does that happen? Are points removed when a marked answer is removed? (the points amount matches the 20 we give for answers.)

CS Success Plans which was bundled together in the CS Other Features is now defined as a Product Area of it’s own. Easier for everyone to monitor Success Plans as a matured module of it’s own. I’ve reassigned a bunch of active Ideas to this new Product area, please let me know as a Comment on others you’d like to see reassigned.

Are we able to pull data on template usage by Playbook and see which CSM's used what templates during specific months.My team has requested the template usage data per Playbook like the Success Plan view which are available and viewable within the dashboard.My question is: Is there something similar to viewing the Playbook template data in Gainsight?

Hi there - I needed to set up a custom report type in Salesforce to use the Insided data, but now all I see when trying to reporting on Community Member Activities is “Visited Community”. No topics, posts, comments, etc. Did I set something up wrong? How do you have your reporting set up for it to work properly? On the backend in the custom report type I have Accounts → Contacts → Community Member Activities. Thank you in advanced!

If you aren’t already using it, there is an option to switch your color pallet for scorecards in Gainsight so that the colors are more visually accessible for folks.  When you update to the new scheme, your Habit and Mass edit reports adopt the new colors as well. But if you have custom reporting you need to do and want your colors to match your scorecards, here are the Hex codes you can map using Custom Colors in reports: Greens (Darkest to lightest)#5AB08E #3FCE96 #59E7AF #90E2C2Yellow (Darkest to lightest)#E0A85F #F

If you are launching a newsletter or trying to announce something important to your community users, it is not possible to send emails from the community itself. However you can easily export list of user email addresses and use a different mailer service to send emails to these users: Go to Analytics in control and run an all time users export. All community emails addresses will be given in this export. Copy/paste or import the email column to your preferred email service and send your newsletter! 💥

Has anyone created a dashboard (not necessarily automated) with month on month success metrics? What are the top metrics that are tracked? Is there a sample report with data and insights?

Hello,Can we customize the sign up page to include additional text related to privacy policy etc?For example we would like to show additional text to the user on the page before they register.

We have a couple of products that share the same add-on module. Is it possible to create an engagement that can be used by multiple products? Currently, we’ve had to create an engagement for product A. Then, we had to clone it and apply it to product B. Managing these virtually identical engagements have been a nuisance. Any tips from anyone who have a similar scenario?

Hi all, I want to change the text for “This member can only receive messages from members they are following.”. I tried “Forum - This member can only receive messages from members they are following.” but this did not work.Any role that has permission to edit phrases on the community is also allowed to send messages to any user, no matter their settings. So I have to add it via control.

Hi All,On Oct 2, Meltwater Community (closed customer community) will celebrate it’s 1st Birthday and launch our Rewards Program. We have cause to celebrate as we’ve grown to 7k members and launched tons of programming but haven’t reached @DannyPancratz monthly engagement levels yet so I am hoping this program will do just that. Wondering if you’ve have launched a program like this and would share any lesson’s learned. I’ve attached an early version of the program - please share any feedback as well.TIA!Kelly

Users subscribing to Product Updates receive what amounts to gibberish.  How do I ensure, that if a customer subscribes to Product Updates, they will receive something they can actually read and maintain a good experience?
