Hi there, It would be a nice quality of life improvement for the system if we could add some tokens/fields to the out of the box notifications subject line. For example, users will receive a notification like "'A CTA has been assigned to you for X Account" in the subject line of their notification, but without further detail as to who created the CTA, etc. Please let me know if there are any questions. Thanks,Brian
According to the answer on this question, points awarded via the API are reflected on the leaderboard, but not on the analytics in control. The idea: fix that. :) Use case: See who has the most points during X time period. The user dashboard allows you to do to this using the date filters. However, if the manually-awarded points from the API are not reflected there, it’s no longer accurate or helpful. Related to the use case for these ideas: And this should be a pre-requisite to this (awesome) idea: We’ve begun experimenting with engagement techniques related to those: awarding points via the API for those who mark answers (we get via Salesforce integration) and I’m also offering bonus point bounties to improve reply and answer rates. The API allows community managers to extend and enhance gamification strategies, but this is a pretty big blocker to tracking and measuring engagement.
We use the ‘Assign moderator’ selector to assign threads to SMEs (Product Managers) in our case. SME’s build personal dashboards to quickly sort threads they have to action When a PM leaves the org, these threads fall throughI’d like to be able to bulk assign threads of an ex-PM Moderator to their new replacement from the Control panel.
Is using inline surveys in email assist on the road map? If so, any sort of ETA?
It would be good to have the option in filters for user attributes, on number of visits in reports. We are able to see this in the UI in audience explorer but not able to apply it in filters. It would be good to identify users who are not adopting and can use these filters to engage them.
It would be very nice to be able to include the Gantt chart visualization of a Success Plan (e.g., only showing objectives and slide per objective incl. tasks) into a Success Snapshot. Currently, Success Plan information is available in tabular format only; the Gantt chart provides a much more insightful and sexy visual for progress meetings and EBR's for example.
We have Activity Timeline dropdown dependencies -- hooray. But, I can’t use Milestone Type as a dependency….what?!? Why isn’t Milestone Type a dropdown in Data Management? This means I can’t have dependent dropdown lists from Milestone Type.
Is it possible to get the leaderboard or an overview of who has gained the most points in a certain period? In this case, this year (2021). I would like to award a prize based on the year 2021 and not all time
It seems articles are included in the “Single User Topics” metric on the Success Dashboard.I’d like to be able to filter those OUT (as well as other content types, if needed), given that articles and some other posts may not be designed to elicit replies. Alternatively, the Success dashboard could be build to focus on just questions. That’s what most of the other metrics center around and including other content types introduces a lot of noise into those numbers.
Use Case: We allow CSMs to set their ‘Sentiment’ manually as a Scorecard measure. We would like to then require an activity to be logged with notes as to why they have selected their choice. Would be nice if we could precheck the ‘Log Activity’ checkbox/require to ensure notes are entered.
Our Marketing team loves the NPS 2.0 tab, and it would really great if there were some export options on that tab. For example, my Customer Advocacy Manager adjusted the filters to display the results she wanted, and then, would have loved to be able to export the list of responses into a CSV file. I know you can rebuild the reports in Report Builder, but for someone who doesn’t need to build reports at all or know how to navigate report builder, adding an export option on the tab itself would be a quick way to get the info without having to reach out to me for a report.
Using Data Designer, is it possible to 'pivot' in the Preparation stage, as you can pivot in bionic rules setup? If not, is it in the road-map?
Currently when an S3 data set task fails for a reason besides the file simply not being present in the S3 bucket, we get an error that reads "Records: -1". This provides no helpful information to the customer to even begin troubleshooting their source file to see what could be missing/misconfigured. A perfect example was a situation where a customer was trying to push a string value to a number field. With just the error that read "Message: 38, Records: -1", the customer is not offered any direction in what the root issue might be, thus leading to confusion in what to do next. It would be helpful if we could provide better error messaging in these task failures so that customers can be more enabled to unstand potential issues with S3 data.
Love custom colors. Just wish I could “clone” my custom color palettes for certain fields, so I don’t have to go through the work of finding and setting all the same hex code colors for values.Example:Using a flattened survey object dataset We ask three questions regarding our product and services Want to create custom colors that will be the same for each multiple choice value, but each question is a new “field” So, this means I have to repeat the same custom color creation three separate times, one for each question fieldInstead, I would like to create 1 custom color set for a field, “clone” it, then just change the field and adjust the values as needed, retaining the same color codes and configuration.
Posting on behalf of a customer… The default full Adoption report delivered via email includes nice statistics and breakout categories for ALL users. However, since it include ALL users/accounts and cannot be filtered to exclude/include only certain users/accounts, and it is not very useful. Also, this multi report email format cannot be recreated as a custom Adoption Report or User/Audience Report, so it is not currently possible to get the same summarized insights for a particular set of users/accounts. Requests: Add the ability to filter the default Adoption report to exclude users/accounts (e.g. internal users) so this default report is more useful Provide the ability to recreate the Adoption report email contents through custom Adoption Report or User/Audience Report.
On the new C360 design, when there are a lot of sections to display, the user has to use a slide scroll bar to see what sections are available Would like the option of having all sections display by default in a wrapped line like this, that way they can quickly see what sections are available and make a choice without having to scroll or select from a picklist.
This is specifically regarding the new group weights that were introduced in the 6.15 release documented here: https://support.gainsight.com/Gainsight_NXT/05Scorecards/02Admin_Guides/Group_Weights_and_Exceptions In an ‘old system’ example, the weight label in the top right of each measure would dynamically change as one or more measure becomes N/A. This allows you to see what weight is actually being calculated in the score. In the ‘new system’, redistribution only happens at the measure group level if an individual measure becomes N/A, not at the overall score level like before.HOWEVER, unlike the ‘old system’, the labels in the top right of each impacted measure do NOT change to reflect their current weight. As an admin trying to validate the difference and impact between going from one system to the other, this was very confusing. While the lack of label change is passively communicated via the example, this reasoning isn’t explained and it isn’t clear that it is even intentional. It doesn’t help that the calculation document doesn’t seem to have any update relevant to this change either, and my attempt to validate the re-distribution on the old math seems to have failed (admittedly, this could be user error). As an end-user, I can only imagine how confusing this would be:If you’re used to the old system, you’d expect to see the weighting change and really doubt your admins sanity if you asked them why a weight said 20% not 25% and they said “no no, just trust me”. Even if this is your first exposure, if someone just explained to you that the weights rebalance but you saw no change in the weights, you would also probably question someone's sanity. If the goal with keeping the weight labels static in this new system is so you can see the defaults, why not include that detail in the mouseover of the weight itself? The displayed label would dynamically show the actual weight contribution to the measure group, and the mouseover would show what the default was set to if someone needed that information. This would achieve:Functional parity with the existing system (dynamically showing the weight for each measure) Continuity for admins AND end-users who have experience with the ‘old’ system A WYSIWYG display for anyone brand new to this system so they can immediately see the weights as they’re being leveraged Still gives the ability to see what the original default was The documentation piece part of this is mostly to improve the existing documentation to explicitly call out that the labels are static and why, but also to ensure that the calculation documentation is up to date as well. Ideally, this will just be changed and the documentation updated with those changes as well anyways :) Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
It would be very helpful to have the ability to utilize conditional branching logic in surveys so that the follow up question can be dictated based on prior the response. For example, if response to question 1 is X, skip to question 3.
Customer is requesting to add blue color in Grading scheme of Scorecards 2.0. They are requesting to use the more colors as of it is in Scorecard 1.0
One thing I really like about Horizon Analytics is that we can now compare string fields (this post probably needs to be updated FYI) to one another. This functionality came in handy for me when comparing two different CSM lookup fields in my org. However, I’d like to see this functionality expanded. I have a use case where I’d like to compare two different currency fields. If a customer’s Currency A field is greater than Currency B, that’s a potential red flag. It would be awesome if we could easily report on that. Same thing with date fields. The weird thing is HA appears to allow you to choose non-string fields when comparing fields in the filter, but if you click apply, it simply doesn’t work unless you’re comparing two string fields.
We are finding that one dashboard style does not necessarly fit all across our CSM segments. We deployed a number of reports in directed dashboards that different GS users may or may not need to see as often as others. If CSMs had the ability to collapse a given report (such as the collapse view in a Salesforce record), users could optimize their daily experience and gain better insights from certian dashboards. Thinking about it, a 'Hide/Collapes' option could remove the report from the dashboard view. Then the 'Collapsed/Hidden' report title can be shown in a section at the top of the dashboard view offering a click option to 'Show/Unhide' the report again. Or only offer it on full horizontal reports if spacing is a concern leaving only the report title and a collape/expand arrow option (identical to the behavior in SFDC records). Not sure the best way to do it, but I know it would greatly improve the CSM experience and aid our internal team in getting more CSM addoption. Any thoughts?
Posting on behalf of a customer: On guides, there are multiple links that we want to track. Instead of having a general "CTA" column in In App Performance, it would be great to have deeper analysis on which links are clicked into.
