When the KC bot is open, it would be good to have a closing X in the upper right as part of the title bar. This is the location where the close appears in engagements and where people are used to closing windows. Our users are initially confused when they open the KC bot, and the only way to close it is the icon on the bottom.
Currently, when a Gainsight WDC-based data source is published from Tableau Desktop to Tableau Server and configured to auto-refresh on schedule at the server end, it can only be successfully refreshed for about 24 hours. After that, all subsequent refreshes consistently fail, generating error messages similar to the following (where [GUID] is a placeholder for an actual value). Error message Unknown Failure (status code = 1003, {"xhr":{"readyState":4,"responseText":"{""result"":false,""errorCode"":""GS_APIG_2401"",""errorDesc"":""Unauthorized"",""requestId"":""[GUID]"",""message"":""Unauthorized""}","responseJSON":{"result":false,"errorCode":"GS_APIG_2401","errorDesc":"Unauthorized","requestId":"[GUID]","message":"Unauthorized"},"status":403,"statusText":"error"},"ajaxOptions":"error","thrownError":"","url":"https://gateway.gainsightcloud.com/v1/exports/tableau/schema","logLevel":"error"} ) Please ensure full integration with Tableau Server, so Gainsight-based data sources can be successfully refreshed long-term on this corporate Tableau platform.
We recently enabled notifications in our NXT environment. When we did so, we came to learn that in-app, e-mail AND Slack notifications are all on by default. There is no way in the user interface for admins to disable individual channels (it has to be done via GS Support which in our experience had more than a week turnaround time). In addition, we’d like to have some granularity in setting event subscriptions. By default, there are about 15 event subscription types. We’d like to be able to allow most of these to show in-app, but not via e-mail or Slack (as an example). As of now, each individual user has to set their own preferences for what they want to receive. In our org of 30+ CSMs, that’s not scalable. Right now, it’s enough to make us turn off all notifications which defeats the purpose.
Request from VMware -- I know we are looking to overhaul the notifications on CTA/Tasks in the near future. VMware asked today if we could come up with an option to alert users of CTA/Tasks when they flip to overdue. I agree that this could be a pretty useful option. Thanks!
Hi There,We have the Salesforce Integration set up.It would be great, that when I go into a users page on the moderation page, there would be a link/button there that took me straight to their salesforce page (similar in functionality to the Zendesk integration, that when I open a ticket, I can then follow the ticket in Zendesk). Thanks,Ilan
Hi Team, Currently when ever we use Chrome plugin to log emails to Gainsight, We will be having a check box button “ Log to Gainsight “ where we need to check that to log emails to Gainsight. Is there a way to get it checked automatically (i.e by default the check box is checked) Use Case : Most of the time customers are forgetting to check the check box and sending the email. If it is checked by default then they can avoid missing the emails to log to Gainsight. Please let me know your thoughts
We would like to be able to automatically track the duration (time worked) on an email when creating that email in outlook and it automatically going to Timeline through the integration. This would help save us time from going back over to timeline and adding the duration of work.
When adding Recommended Content to the KC Bot, please include the option to display the Recommend Content in a New Tab (the current default) or mixed in with the general content in the Onboarding Tab (without the need for users to click into a new tab).
We are using the KC Bot to display release notes using articles. The release notes will be simple bullet list items of new features, but sometimes we will want to have rich content with more information about new features. It would be nice to allow users to open these engagements from within the release notes article with either some of the release note text as a link or a “See more!” link. The rich text editor for the articles could have a link option that has options for external links or engagements. If you choose engagements you could get a list of existing engagements to link to. Since there is risk that a link points to an inactive engagement you would probably just need a logic to display as plain text in this case.
We’re currently getting more team members involved in building and editing engagements. We’ve run into some edits not being saved because another user is also editing the engagement at the same time. I think the best option would be that if a user has an engagement open for editing, that it is locked from another user being able to open that engagement. Of course, the other user should receive a message that the engagement is currently open for editing by another user. Another option would be to at least have a notification when you open an engagement if another user also has that engagement open.I asked this as a question a few days ago, and I’ve searched resources and the community, but don’t see this anywhere else. My question post:
Hello to PX Product team, I would love more user management for PX end-user. Better analytics around access and control over access for users. As well as ability to inactive rather than delete. Additional profile fields to help us understand our stakeholders and responsibility. An open text field would be great for notes on our end-user. For security reason we need to be able to manage our end users. who has access to what pieces of PX. We have close to 86 users and there is no auditing trail for changes. So you can see the need here. Best Regards, Darshana Shah
It would be very helpful in the main Rules Engine table, if we could view/sort the rules based on the last run date/time
As someone working in several orgs outside my local timezone, it would be AWESOME if we could add a simple text callout somewhere on the various “execution history” pages with “current local time / current org time”.As it stands, I practically have to keep a post-it for each org for every area of the program where times listed are not in my local TZ. It’s a little tedious and can lead to silly misunderstandings, which could be immediately cleared up by a handy callout.See my next level graphic design mock-up below…
When CSM receive an email with some actions in it, they would like to highlight a text in the email and being able to create CTA directly form there.
Posting on behalf of a CSM at my org. Initial question: someone wrongly associated a bunch of emails to a churned account. Is there a way to reallocate them to the right C360 without copying and pasting all the things? As we discussed options, we talked about associated records. Their response: yeah I tried associated records but it only associated to a call to action or to R360s within that C360 not beyond. This creates a problem for hierarchy accounts.
I would love the ability to visualize data in a funnel chart. This would be for visualizing our "On-boarding Pipeline" all of the opportunities in our onboarding lifecycle stages (pending, training scheduled, training complete, on-hold). This is a key part of our executive and management dashboard and I feel that the funnel chart is the best option for displaying this type of data. I would love the ability to visualize data in a funnel chart. This would be for visualizing our "On-boarding Pipeline" all of the opportunities in our onboarding lifecycle stages (pending, training scheduled, training complete, on-hold. Ideally this option would also allow you to select the order of the stages in the pipeline. It would not be helpful for this to be organized alphabetically, or asc/desc by record count. I could re-name the stages to include numbers (i.e. 1-pending, 2-training scheduled..etc) but this would not be ideal.
Hello, We would really love the ability to schedule individual reports as an excel attachment. The dashboard/ppt scheduling isn't an ideal solution for us.
It might be helpful for customers to be able to move activities in timeline from account to relationship. Not all users would need the ability but it might be helpful for admins, especially if they have to move a lot all at once.
Hi,I’m a CSM using Gainsight as my primary tool to manage customer engagements. As such I’ve adopted the email-to-timeline feature to save important customer interactions in Gainsight e.g. statements of support, project updates, important minutes of meetings. When you send emails to Gainsight they appear as Drafts in the global timeline section. You are then able to associate it with a Customer or a Relationship. Would it be possible to allow emails to be associated with Projects/Sucecss Plans as well? It would make life somewhat easier when you have multiple projects/plans for one relationship.
**Posting on behalf of @Intuitive_Geneva as an idea We have field employees that now use the Gainsight Mobile App -> Timeline since they only have a phone/iPad on the road with them. However, users cannot upload attachments (one of the main goals for our field employees to use Gainsight) via Timeline on the Mobile App. We would love to have this feature added to Mobile so we don’t lose our field employees to another app!
