The sitemap helps search engines to index the community more efficiently. It is supposed to contain the community’s essential pages in order to making sure that robots can quickly and easily find and crawl those pages.Currently, the Community’s sitemap contains all community parent categories and categories. It is however not possible to include custom content, such as important / high-value posts, into the sitemap.High-value posts are any pieces of content that you want to push (and boost) to Google more quickly and make them stand out in between all of your other content. e.g.:Latest product launch Current sales campaign An upcoming event An essential tutorial or FAQI propose a new feature that will allow Community admins to manually add high-value content directly to the sitemap. Possible ways to do it:make the whole sitemap.xml editable (such as the robots.txt file) provide Community admins with a form that enables them to manually add (and later remove) URLs to (and from) the sitemap.xmlBeing able to manually add high-value content will improve the organic visibility of this content in search engines by an estimated 5-10%.
We have a number of articles that have more than one table in them.I would like to be able to specify that all tables are 100% width, so that multiple tables within a single article aren’t “jarring” and are formatted/sized the same (for readability).
I have numerous Saved Views, it would be nice if I could reorder them by dragging and dropping so they are organized logically.
Customers subscribe to our Product Updates in the community to stay informed about what has actually shipped. However, when a Product Idea is delivered, it often remains only in the Ideas section. This creates friction and confusion: customers miss shipped features because they don’t actively monitor Ideas, and Product Updates become incomplete as the single source of truth for releases.Proposed SolutionIntroduce the ability to convert a delivered Product Idea into a Product Update within the community.
I recently learned that with the ability to create new Goal Types in the Customer Goals feature, that you cannot update the Goal Type on any existing customer goals. We have hundreds of goals created since the Customer Goals feature came about, so this means that these goals will need to remain in “Default” as their goal type.It would make sense to have the ability to not only create new goal types, but also the ability to modify them/their name, and modify existing goals so that when you report on types, you don’t have to figure out what goal types to use.Is this something we can expect in the near future?
As per https://support.gainsight.com/Staircase_AI/Users_and_Permissions/Users_and_Permissions#Role_Definitions, Staircase AI users with the role Manager can see all communications. The only difference between that role and Admin is that Admin can also manage User permissions, Configurations, Integrations and Reports. Wouldn’t it be better to either change the Manager role - or create an additional role - so that the visibility behaviour is that they see all of their own emails and their team’s email instead? And by team I mean direct reports and (as an optional setting) peers. This is especially useful for CSM Managers to keep an eye on accounts in region, etc. without having access to say conversations at an executive level? Staircase already inherits the concept of Team from the Exchange server so knows the current hierarchy, so it doesn't seem such a giant leap to be able to implement this? Regards,Matt Smith
In Accounts Explorer the search only allows users to search based on Name and Id. It would be helpful to have the ability to search on any Account Attribute, especially Custom Attributes.Use Case:The unique identifier we use internally is a billing Id. When searching in other products, we search based on that. In PX we have to already have the GS Id (which other users don’t have) or the Name. It’s possible for an account to have child accounts, and that billing Id would be the primary differentiator to ensure we are looking at the correct account. We currently have to look through the accounts pulled by name for the account with the correct billing Id.
Bulk Export of Success Snapshots for multiple accounts, ideally hierarchical - for a parent and all its child accounts. This will save a lot of time instead of manually going to each company c360 and downloading the Success Snapshot.
Hello! I’ve recently started working in the new version of the Snapshot builder and I had some feedback. While the new release is definitely and improvement on the older version, there are some things that I’ve noticed which could still stand to be improved… Copying or deleting a slide from the deck sometimes causes my entire window to shift down the slides. Example: when deleting slide 14 from my deck, the builder loads for a time and then flashes, and I’m suddenly looking at slide 34. This doesn’t seem consistent but it is frequent. Resizing text boxes with reports included is behaving inconsistently. Sometimes, I’m able to freely resize the box; however, like the above behavior, often enough I can only make the box smaller and not re-expand it. This is super painful when it happens because my only option is to delete the box and start over. Resizing columns in embedded reports. This is consistent, and very awkward. Resizing one column impacts all of the columns around it, which generally causes the ends to overrun the border of the report - not desirable behavior. Trying to get the column sizes to take up exactly as much space as is available in the report box is also a real pain. The actual size of the embedded report box in the Snapshot Builder doesn’t appear to be honored on the export - I’m seeing exports where my builder shows an edge-to-edge report box but the final export has 3/4’’ margins on either side. Overflow reports (“Extend Report Rows” box checked) do not conform to the original size or position on-slide of the parent report. This causes the table to bounce around between slides a lot. No fancy formatting - I can’t use Mass Edit style reports with the Snapshot Builder, so my best option for health score reporting is plaintext names for the associated score colors. It would be way more attractive if I could produce the equivalent of a Mass Edit scorecard report, using an embedded report in the Snapshot builder. I cannot add new, blank slides in the builder. This one is pretty simple but it means I have to keep a blank slide available in every template for copying in order to add new slides. Would be fantastic to have that ability built in.I do appreciate being able to draw my own text boxes to size, and have multiple widgets on the same slide with relative ease now - that was very painful in the old builder. Hopefully you aim to continue iterating on this and make it a friendlier and more polished experience, because the core idea is very good. Users are excited about the concept of a Success Snapshot and spend a considerable amount of time hand-building decks for clients. The issue I continuously encounter is that nothing I can give them from the Snapshot builder comes close the polish they can accomplish building by hand.
As an admin, my options to include Customer Goal widgets on a C360 are limited. I’d like a way to easily display Goals by Status - Open, Closed, etc. or by Type, just like is already available for Success Plans.I see these two features as being very closely linked already, so there should be parity in terms of what is already available with Success Plans as there should be to Customer Goals. The options I have today are to either create a custom report, or nothing. However in using the custom report widgets in C360, there is a limit to the minimum size of the widget--which if I’m using a KPI report widget is unnecessarily oversized. It would be very helpful to either see new features like this receive full parity and development across the entire of CS when launched, or for them to not be launched until fully ready. We really like the idea of Customer Goals, but we keep running into very seemingly obvious limitations across the system in trying to implement the feature.
Hi,My team needs to be able to track what groups specific members are part of. There is not an easy way of doing this outside of going group by group. We have a tons of groups so this isn’t scalable.
Would love to have widgets that I can add into each group. Would love to have a customization sidebar within each group. For example a leaderboard or events calendar.
Currently we are able to Cc a recipient/email address when we set up a program, but we would like to request the ability to Bcc a recipient/email address. It seems obvious that we've sent an email as part of a mass send when the sender's email address is Cc'ed, so Bcc'ing would be much more subtle.
I’d love to have webhook events related to the new Segments feature. These are probably additional “User Events.”I’d like to seeUser added to segment User removed from segmentMy use cases are primarily around automating moderation alerts and other engagement tactics. For example…A user meets the criteria for and is added to the Dormant Users segment A slack alert to let me know, and/or Triggering an engagement workflow A user meets the super user segment criteria and is added to the segment A slack alert to let me know, and/or Triggering an engagement workflow (even if manual personal outreach like a thank you message) A user no longer meets the Dormant Users segment criteria and is removed from it A slack alert to let me know Adding a row to a google sheet for tracking a list of users who have re-engaged, etc
It would be so cool if we could create a related list for a CTA -- or, like in JO programs, embed a report in a CTA.Yes, a user can access the C360 and navigate to the respective tab. But we still need to instruct a user to do so in a CTA.Instead, let’s reduce the user friction by giving them exactly what they need directly in the CTA. We can do this with Company or Relationship fields right now, but that’s it. Let’s take this a step further by being able to provide a related list of records the CTA is referencing, or embedding a report in the CTA.Even if we could easily “link” a C360 section within a CTA, allowing for a one-click experience for the user, that would be a big help. Current Experience:User receives a CTA for an increased number of support tickets in the last 30 days User clicks Company name from CTA to be taken to C360 (creates a new tab, now the user is not even on the CTA anymore) User clicks the Support Tickets tab to get more information on the tickets User scrolls to find the tickets submitted in the last 30 daysEnhanced Experience:User receives a CTA for an increased number of support tickets in the last 30 days. The CTA contains a tab for “Support Tickets Last 30 Days” User clicks tab in CTA to review the submitted tickets Linked Objects are limited to low volume objects in Gainsight, so I can’t use Linked Objects to solve this issue. An example of my vision is below: A very similar idea, but for Scorecard specifically, is this one:
