It would be extremely helpful to have the ability to set and send engagement emails for courses and Learning Paths retroactively. Currently, there’s no feature to send targeted emails to specific users, and since Skilljar Actions only launched earlier this year, we’re limited in how we can manage ongoing engagement. Here’s the challenge we’re facing: we often set up custom Learning Paths for customers, and later they ask us to enable engagement emails for those same paths. However, users who registered early on never receive these emails, which creates a gap in communication and doesn’t make sense from a learner experience standpoint.Having the option to send engagement emails retroactively would ensure all learners receive consistent communication, regardless of when they registered.
The functionality to view a report and link (for an end user to subsequently click) on a specific Company or Relationship & be taken to it's respective C360 and R360 is currently available. This functionality does not exist for P360.For example, if I create a report with “Company Name” as a column - each Company Name will link to the respective C360. If I create a report with “Person Name” as a column - this will not link to the respective P360 - it will only appear as plain text.
The feature of adding custom fields to topics exists but only for admins. We would be interested in the ability to create custom fields (open text, radio, multiselect) that would show up when an end-users is creating a new topic. It would also be great if we'd have the ability to specify which types of posts we’d like this custom field to show up on: Questions, Conversations, Ideas, Articles.
I am not sure if many people are interested in this one, but we would like to be able to extend the feature that already exists with ideas to Questions and Conversations
In the SFDC connector jobs we have the possibility to preview data, but that data shown is not reflecting the filters configured. I have been told by support that this is an expected behaviour. I see that @hardik_mota has already posted this request some time ago in this post and it was updated 3 months ago taking it to implemented with the caveat that it was only for Hubspot connector for now. I understand that this is a WIP but having the preview available without the data being filtered is pointless. Furthermore, I have lost 1hs trying to figure out what I was doing wrong with my data because I couldn’t get it filtered, then I have to wait for a response to my ticket only to see that it was expected behaviour. I would suggest to only allow to preview if the actual filtered data is to be shown. All the best
Hi Team,Posting Customer’s comment here.As of now the intercom connector does not allow to map directly from admins to the user object and it also does not allow create new users via rules engine, only update existing ones. Could you please consider adding this functionality to create new users when mapping data from the intercom connector to the user object?
Gainsight should have it’s own Forms feature. I am using the “Add Records” function in certain cases as a defacto “form.” I can’t tell you how many Asana forms my company has that I’d really love to just have in Gainsight.
I’ve taken over a new instance and the previous admin synced all salesforce users into our production environment. Now when a CSM searches for themselves in a Global Filter (or elsewhere), they are met with thousands of useless user names. Let me delete these users, or at least prevent them from showing in global filter searches.
It’d be wonderful if I could configure a default set of fields to be included in any report’s drilldown view. It’s save me a lot of time having to go through every report and add/organize the right fields over and over and over again.
We have the ability to make changes to the company/relationship for timeline activities already, we’d like to see the same capability for CTAs. Event if it’s just company to company or relationship to relationship (of same relationship types) this would be a huge benefit to our CSMs instead of closing/deleting and recreating CTAs if they need to be moved.
WHAT: be able to customize the URL or URL Path of the pages, to allow a better URL structure. Currently Gainsight adds numbers to some URLs and they are not user friendly at all. Also, the articles URL don’t follow a natural standard of: /{product}/{category}/{sub-category}/{article} WHY: This would represent an important UX enhancement as well as allowing search engines to better crawl our community
I love, love, love the customizability of pages within Gainsight Communtiies product. I wish however that I had the same ability to customize page elements on a community page. Right now all I can do is change the background image associated with the community and turn on/off the featured topics section. I would love to be able to add page elements like the one below. My use case relates to the need that we would like to better direct users to content specifically related to the community they are visiting. This could be a whitepaper, or other external resources.
It would be nice to have the ability to select Interaction sentiment from gainsight assist. Similar to how you can when you create the timeline note from inside Gainsight.
ContextAction Controls for buttons (and maybe other features) in some PX engagements allow you to trigger other actions: Current Action Control OptionsIdea As a PX Admin…When I am designing user journeys and engagement workflowsI want to trigger another engagement based on conditional actions in the first engagementIn order to personalize engagement experiences across personas and/or engagement responses Expected ResultsBetter experience for the end user Easier administration and facilitation for PX admins and strategists While, this is currently possible using the Redirect to URL action and then specific URL parameters in the Audience criteria of engagement B, the process is complex and introduces a lot of variables that could compromise execution. This feels like it should be a lot easier. Ideal SolutionTwo parts:An additional trigger type for engagements, similar to the KB or badge triggers The ability to trigger an engagement from an action within the first engagement the Action Controls above Conditional branches actions in the first engagements
I feel this is an overkill but asked and support confirmed this is expected, so here I am.Basically, what the title says. There are three values visible in the User Management screen: Status, Created on and Modified date that… are not included in the export 😑. This is extremely basic information. The user management capabilities are very limited (and disconnected) from CS’, eg: In an ideal world PX should match the CS experience but for the time being... can you please allow us to manage the export or at least add these 3 values to it? There has to be a better way and less time-consuming than inspecting the page, parsing the JSON and converting the Unix timestamp... User management screen and exportThanks,
The new Horizon Analytics has settings where you can enable or disable report exporting/data downloads, which is great, but it’s an all-or-nothing approach to data exports. Instead, it would be better if we could enable/disable report exports at the individual report level. The use case is for a group of users that all have the same permission bundle -- our CSMs, so even enabling/disabling downloading from the user level won’t solve for this use case. There are some reports I want CSMs to be able to download, and some I don’t want them to be able to download, but that’s not possible with current functionality.
Gainsight does not allow the following for Standard/System fields: Editing the name Hiding Adding a description Deleting This is restrictive and annoying enough, but especially so for “Industry,” which has two separate Standard fields, one that’s a string and one that’s a dropdown list. Our org briefly used the string one and then moved to the dropdown list. Once in a while, we need to allow leadership to build reports in Gainsight or Data Analysts to access our data via API, and we have no way to make it easy to let them know which is the correct Industry field to use. This is a classic “Admin Quality of Life” issue. If I could simply hide, edit (perhaps add a “DON’T USE” prefix to the deprecated one), or even delete the out-of-use field, it would help deflect the inevitable questions and lost efficiencies we regularly face when it comes to this field. Please consider fixing this.
In our instance, there are 17 unused Company fields. They are always NULL and there is no way to re-name them or remove them from view while navigating Gainsight. This makes it challenging to understand which fields contain data and which don’t when accessing Reports, Programs, Rules, Data Designer, Cockpit or Timeline filters, etc. Many errors can occur when joins or calculated fields are on the incorrect fields. Please allow Admins to toggle these fields off, or at minimum, to re-name them.List of fields for reference:ARR ($) Average NPS® CSAT CSAT Last Updated Customer Lifetime in Months Managed By Industry Lifecycle in weeks MRR ($) NPS NPS® Last Updated Original Contract Date Overall Score Comments Renewal Date Stage Tags Users
The Gantt chart within Success Plans is a unique sticky feature that our team is excited to use. However, the limitation of not being able to export or share dynamically with external stakeholders will likely prevent adoption. What is the point of having a wonderful visual project plan if it cannot be shared with those who need access?NOTE: I know the full Success Plan can be shared via email or in Spaces, but that is a huge hurdle to just see the Gantt Chart and requires lots of other configuration. Then, once a Success Plan is shared, there is no way to have just the Gantt chart visible, it is buried in the Success Plan at least 3 clicks deep.
