When you report on timeline by date there is no way to group the date by month/quarter etc. Our team uses timeline to log everything, which is great, but there is no way for us to analyze the average time spent on certain activities by month. We would really love this feature. 

Since most CSMs have complained that they have to use their mouse after typing in a customer name to select the account.

Thinking through how to improve the widgets on a dashboard.  If this data is based on historical trending data, rather than just a singular data point, it would be awesome to allow a trend indicator.  While its helpful to see a number, its even more helpful to see that number as it relates to the previous day/week/month. Not sure the best way to implement this, but would love to get feedback from other community members.

Here is what I am referring to Would it be possible to make it so you can add a date filter on this data? I understand that on the backend these values are basically rolled up to a table(AO Analytics) that you can't add a date filter to but I have gotten this request from a few customers so far. Alternatively, can anyone think of an easy way to combine specific overall program analytics while using a date range?

When we add a source for a participant in AO and while mapping the participant, if we don't save then we get this red alert-   It would be great if we could get a succinct pop-up like -"Please save the participant mapping". Currently, the way to identify that the mapping is not saved is - Thank you :) 

We're hoping to better track and potentially backfill some records with new data as we sync Timeline Activities and CTA Tasks to SFDC Tasks.  In order to accomplish this, we would need a tighter relationship between the Gainsight record and the SFDC record.  It would be great if we we could push the Gainsight Ids to a custom field on the SFDC task.

I have a report on an MDA table where I am looking to summarize data by quarter and pivot on that column So these columns: Product name Client Q1 2015 (date column pivoted and summarized by quarter to display Sum of Usage) Q2 2015 (ditto) Q3 2015 (ditto) Q4 2015 (ditto) Q1 2016 (ditto) Q2 2016 (ditto) The source table has millions of records in it as it stores daily usage records for each Product against each Client for each individual user However when pivoted the table is incomplete because there is a limit on the number of records retrieved before it is summarised in the table. This is then misleading as it shows that Client X's usage of Product Y stopped in Q3 2015 - not because there is no usage but because records after Q3 2015 were not retrieved in the first place If I output to Excel/CSV I do get Usage for Q4-2015 onwards but would rather not have to train users to "always export" I could potentially create new MDA objects where the base data is preag

As we have more rules built out, have we considered having a filter option for last run result?  This would help me (as well as admins) be able to filter the rule lists by rules that may have failed or partially succeeded the previous day. I find myself scrolling quite a bit and it would be nice to just filter the list on a true/false value.

From a UI perspective, I've received a feature request: when going to the Scorecard section of both C360 and R360, the measures be collapsed by default under their respective group headers, as it is significantly easier to read on-the-fly by CSMs

I have a client that loves the ability to collapse scorecard sections, however, He'd like the ability to do on of two things: 1- Set them up to be default "Collapsed" so each time the user opens the page they are collapsed.  If this isn't doable 2- Have these be sticky per user (i.e. they set it up and it stays sticky as they navigate through pages)

The past two days we have experienced 2 and 3 hour delays with Outreach schedule.  This causes our Outreaches to run into downstream related Rules that are based on email logs.  Two suggestions: 1.) It would be great if the Gainsight status page could be updated if an queues are delayed more than 1 hour. 2.) It also would be great if we could manually pause all Gainsight Rules.  This way we could wait for all emails to be sent.  Note that there is already another post to allow for dependent scheduling between Outreaches and Rules.

I was sad to see that Pivot tasks are not available in Advanced Outreach's Bionic Query Builder. There are several text fields that I want to concatenate together, and a Pivot task would make it easier (per the comments on this post). Is there a reason that it was left out?

I've been hearing multiple use cases / suggestions around being able to import the data file from S3 into Bionic Rules.  1) Eliminate the need for setting up S3 jobs and then running the rule separately and potentially avoid 24 hours of delay before data is processed and available for consumption. 2) Loading data to SFDC directly without needing to store in MDA as a staging area 3) Without having to think about missing schedules. With Bionic Rules, reading the data from S3 and processing can be one rule. 4) Avoid storing unwanted data. Dimensionality reduction, filtering the bad quality records, applying the transformations. 5) Merging multiple files into one data set before loading.  What are the other supporting use cases that you can think of?

Currently, in order to add attendees to an activity from the Timeline, a user has to click into the search box, type to search for the contact, click to select the contact, and then click again to re-enter the search box. It would be great if after a contact is selected, the cursor would be placed back into the search box and they could just begin typing the next attendee's name.

I think it would be a better UX if users could type enter after searching for an attendee. Not a huge deal but having to type a name, then click the name to add it is just one extra step vs. typing enter without leaving the keyboard.

I have noticed something that have been tripping up up some customers that I'd like to open up some talks on a feature enhancement. When using a power list to load participants, say you load one participant into the AO and then some of the data changes that you are bringing in, for example the CSM field. Even if you refresh the power list and re run the sync it will not update the participant record in AO participants. The only way to get the new data is to "Clear Participants" and then re run the sync. Since the record already exists due to the uniqueness criteria it will basically skip the update. I'd like open up the discussion to see if this is what admins would like to change. At least, I think this should be made more clear in the product. Another thing I'd like to see more visible is that the participant sync will not remove contacts if the power list is no longer bringing in a contact.  Example - Power list contains 2 contacts and the participant sync runs. When creating performance coaching agendas or logging emails and adding external users in the timeline activity it's rather tedious to add users to Timeline Activities.  Currently, you have to search with a keyboard, then select the option with the mouse. It would be nice if the name could be selected by using Enter or arrow keys-enter right from the keyboard. What is the existing workflow? Search for a name, wait for the options to pop-up, then select with a mouse. Moving from keyboard to mouse for every name isn't efficient.

Apparently once you create an S3 Dataset task, load the column details, and save it - you cannot edit it. So if you realize you failed to include a column in the file you are attempting to import, you have to delete the dataset task and create a new one - unless I'm missing something key? Sure would be easier if I could edit the existing one, re-load the column details and re-save.

The addition of being able to see which participants failed to be added to a program is great  It would be great if you could report on them. In the use case I saw, the customer wanted to be able to report on any that didn't get added to a program due to being on the blacklist.

When cloning rules, I would like the cloned rule to maintain the state of the rule being cloned. I feel there are extra unnecessary steps when I clone a rule to find it under the inactive rules, set it to active, then update the rule to test and set live.

In Salesforce there was an option to load attachments and relate them to Opportunities or to an Account but It will be displayed at account level (even that are related to opportunities). Salesforce has made this as a custom built so if an attachment is linked to opportunity are also displayed in that Account (that is related to that opportunity) But if we load this into Gainsight and when we try to built this as an report and link it to C360 in Gainsight, the attachments that are only linked to accounts were displayed but not that are linked to opportunities. Can we make this an enhancement where we can display the attachments of opportunities also  in the account level i.e, in C360 page (similar to Salesforce functionality).

My client thought it might be better UI if the "validate email" button within Email assist task was located towards the top of the page instead of at the bottom!? 

Hi  Currently whilst I am creating the slides within Success Snapshot I am unable to preview the slides to see if it fits or looks right.  I have to enable it to show on the C360, Drill in an account, export it and once emailed to my inbox can I preview what I created and if it does not look right go to the whole process again.  Is there something I am missing here? I would like to see what I am creating before having this available to the CSMs to export before its fully created. Is this an idea/problem? Thanks Naquiyah Cash

It would be ideal to be able to add advanced filter logic to merge criteria when merging two datasets in bionic rules. This would allow us to reference two fields where the identifier could be present to merge the data on. Currently, we have to perform to separate merges for each criteria and then merge the reports together a third time to create a final dataset. 

It would be great if the composer could support other types of formatting than just BBCode, like Markdown for one. Also, in the meantime, it would be great if the composer respected indented text in code samples in the BBCode. Any leading whitespace is removed, which makes a JSON code sample kind of useless, for example. Thanks!
