We have a closed community with sign ups only coming through SSO. We have an issue where certain email domains or IP addresses are being rejected. A quick email to support will solve this, but that’s a poor experience for the client who tries logging into our help center for the first time. We solved the issue by adding additional SSO validation and removing IP checking all together, but ideally I could manage this on my side.   TLDR - want to be able to list and un-list banned emails and IP addresses

Hello, I am testing out the conversational widget. It looks like images show nicely within the widget. But embedded videos are just showing as a link.Is there a way to get videos to be embedded/playable from within the widget? We’ve made extensive use of video answers in our community forum.  In our community forum, that URL is actually an embedded video. In the conversational widget it just shows as a link. 

Allow RSVP for an event to act as joining a group, and represent the group association on the event description. This allows for groups to be used as content holders for event Q&As and conversations, as well as polling. Its an opportunity to use your community as your event’s Sli.do platform. Only instead of the group/ room disappearing after the event, your attendees now have access to the community...

We have a lot of relationships and currently if I have a contact across multiple relationships I have to add them to the respective relations one at a time. I would like to be able to when adding a new contact choose multiple relationships at the same time. This would be a huge time saver when getting a new account with 10-15 contacts that need to be added to 5+ relationships.

Would like to have a way to limit what tags can be used in a particular category when creating a new topic. For example, in our community we have an Introductions category, we ask people to tag their introduction with introduction and their user role, but sometimes folks go wild. By limiting tags we could also improve the SEO and findability of this content.

Hi Team, One of the customer has reached out to support team and shared the experience of adding a task to playbook.When editing Playbooks, everytime you take an action, edit, add task etc the page defaults to the top of the screen meaning you have to scroll back down the relevant playbook everytime again.Please check the video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/P8u5d69E  Could you please check and let us know if we can have the new task form appear around the playbook that is being modified, rather than at the top of page?

Somewhere along the line, I’ve given feedback that Insided should build some standard profile fields for common fields, including Company and Job Title. If/when that’s added, I’d recommend adding them to the Author meta data available via Zapier (currently you can get username, ID, rank, mainRole, and avatar). Use case: We use Zapier for sending alerts on new posts into to specific slack channels. We have several use cases for this and will be expanding them. In many cases, it’d be helpful to inject some context for those seeing the alert. For example, right now we have “New question from {username}: {topic title}” with the topic title linked to the topic URL. I’d love to be able to expand that to use cases like this: “New question/idea from {username} ( {company} ): {topic title}”  “New idea from {username} ( {job title} ): {topic title}” Injecting that context would be helpful for CSMs to s

Hi Team,In the JO program, when participants get failed during participant sync from source, then custom field values does not get populated. In the above scenario the participants moved to failed participants during sync and hence the custom field values will not get populated. Customer requested to populate the custom field values for the failed participants also. Thank you. 

I’d like the ability to create 2 different visualizations on a dashboard for the same report. For example, if I have a report of all Risk CTAs I want to see a table on a dashboard indicating detailed information like next action due, reporting category, days due, etc. but I also want to display a widget showing the number of total risk CTAs open. I’ve been doing this by cloning reports and adjusting, but this means that I am just creating more and more reports with essentially the same data.

Hello all,  I’ve had a customer place a ticket for a feature request. The customer would like the ability to add a task description when adding a task in a timeline entry, as opposed to creating the task and then filling out the description on the CTA. This would enhance workflow by reducing the number of steps needed to a task completely filled out.  I’ve attached the two places where tasks are for clarity.   

To provide visibility via email to the Account Owner (they are not the contact being used to send the email).In my organization, we have a customer outreach motion to email many customers offering a CS session led by a non-assigned Technical Account Manager. The Account Executive is the Account Owner in this case and it would be nice to have the Account Executive CC’ed automatically on these reach outs. The Account Owner is not always the same across all of these accounts that will be sent an email by Journey Orchestrator, so we are unable to hard code a static email address in the CC field.

A big part of content maintenance (for users as well as the company) is reviewing and updating published content. In order to be transparent, it is oftentimes better to not remove outdated sections of text, but to strike through it. This way users can still see what the old information was and can compare it the updated content.Currently there is no way to create strikethrough text in the frontend. It is only possible in Control when you manually use the <s> tag in the HTML mode.I propose to add a “Strikethrough” button in the text editor as several users in my community and also staff members are requesting this feature.As there is limited space in the Text Editor toolbar, I suggest to do a global usage review of the existing formatting options and to remove the least used one (my guess would be the left/center/right align format) in order to replace it with “Strikethrough”.

Allow for text color customization and rules. I.e. example below:  Relationship Sentiment = Green → text color displayed as greenMax Subscription End Date → within 30 days displayed as yellow, past that date displayed as red 

When adjusting the date on Timeline Activities, users are presented with a calendar pop-up through which they can select a day. The same sort of behavior is present when setting or adjusting Due Dates for Tasks / CTA’s, with one minor difference: the CTA and Task calendar has a quicklink for “Today” at the bottom. I understand that in most cases the default date for an Activity is already “today”, but a user recently pointed out that adjusting the date is sometimes necessary when revisiting drafts. In any event, it would be a cleaner experience for these calendar selection pop-up’s to match. See examples below… CTA Due Date Adjustment Activity Timeline Date Adjustment 

I’d like to suggest a further enhancement to the new Going.io integration to allow for call transcripts to be imported and fed into the CX Center algorithm. Doing so would allow for a very broad search of sentiment keywords within CX against call transcripts from various customer-facing teams.My guess is that there might be some privacy concerns to contend with as part of this integration so that would need to be dealt with.

Quick background:  I love the way Insided embeds a topic link when you past the URL into a post on the community. However, when someone is logged-out / unregistered and/or does not have permissions to see that category, the embedded link shows only as the URL. I’d love to see the nice looking embed still work even when someone does not have a right to access that forum. With the User Dashboard, its great to have data like posts, replies, likes given and received, but would love the ability to look at additional consumption in this view, like the following:Average session duration Page views (unique and cumulative)  By article/post Event registrations 

The moderation filters are fantastic and very comprehensive. I was surprised I couldn’t filter by author’s user role, as you can filter by this on the Content, Success, and Self-Service dashboards that are rolling up topic analytics. I recommend adding User Role as a filter and allowing to multi-select from the full list of primary and custom user roles, similar to how you select Published In or Content Type in the filters. Use case: We have processes to support and improve those Success metrics like reducing Single User Topics, Time to Answer, and % Answered. It would be good to filter out questions from staff that are using community for questions as well. Hi teamI have a rule that’s failing to ingest data because one of the email addresses in the source CSV file is formatted as “name@example.com “ with a trailing whitespace rather than “name@example.com”.In an ideal world, all of our source data would be perfectly clean, but that’s not realistic for us and probably isn’t for many other people.It would be great if Rules Engine could trim whitespace around email addresses before ingesting them to avoid errors like thisI found a request for a similar thing in JO too but this is specifically for Rules Engine ingest:ThanksJon

For more transparency about what features are being developed, we should add/adopt an idea status title “in development” or “in progress” to our ideas pipeline. Right now, you can share a dashboard with any user that has a license, however if they do not have specific permissions on the dashboard as at least a viewer they cannot see. This should not be allowed to happen as it makes the permissioning overly confusing. Instead, you should only be allowed to share a dashboard with someone who has permissions to view the dashboard at a minimum.

it’d be nice to have a button that can sit below a Quick Links widget, similar to what’s possible with the Featured Topics widget (preferred: customizable) and Events Calendar widget (hardcoded / pre-set)
