What all possible steps we can take before enabling or configure Relationship? What are the areas of an account will be majorly impacted by enabling the Relationship. Can someone please help me with the documentation if available. Thanks

Does anyone uses the User-ID feature from GA4 to better track Gainsight users? Can someone guide me on how to configure it?

Hello!I am looking to implement CSQLs, but Salesforce CPQ requires that upsells be treated as Amendments to existing contracts. The problem that the Amendment will automatically generate a new opportunity. So the current process with CSQL gets disrupted by the CPQ process (or else you’ll end up with duplicate opportunities and one will have to be closed)I’m curious if there is a workaround for this issue. Or how anyone else has dealt with this issue.Best,Ben W.

This week I noticed that two of our users who recently posted in our community are showing up with the username "Anonymous" and I can't find their original username in the control environment under "User overview." It's not possible to click on the "Anonymous" username. My understanding is that users cannot delete their own community account. We have a tutorial asking users to email us if they want their account deleted. Neither has emailed us. I'm concerned that this is happening with more than two users, but I can't figure out why it's happening. Is this a bug? Is anyone else noticing this? Thanks! Edited to add: I had recently exchanged private messages with one of these users. When I do a search in my inbox for the original username and "Anonymous," nothing turns up. How do I run a simple report to see if I have any duplicates in GS?

Hi Community,Has anyone had difficulties embedding a external link to C360? I tried embedded a tableau dash into C360, but I keep running into this error “tableau.[companyname].com refused to connect.”Has anyone solved this or know how?

Hello everyone, can someone please tell us where we can change the phrase “Membership requires approval from moderator”? Thank you! 😊

I've seen mentions of this in other community posts, but no real update on the matter (I believe). We're piloting Success Plans with our CSMs right now and are really keen for them to adopt, but so far there's a pretty large barrier to entry for them just because they find the whole interface (including when a template is implemented with many objectives and tasks). They suspect customers will find this overwhelming as well. Is there an update?

Hello Team,We have found a limitation in Gainsight with a data type called "list". When customers try to get information from this type and load it using mixpanel connector job, we end up putting in NULL values instead of the actual data.Because of this, many customers are having trouble loading their data. Please think about fixing this issue as an product improvement.

Folks,I have a use case where J.O. e-mails will be sent to users who upgrade to a certain product. My problem is I need to send a different version of that same e-mail if a new user joins the company and therefore doesn’t need the Upgrade Training but rather a New User Training.I have tried filtering by user created date but J.O. e-mail filters only allow me to filter by Token fields. Any insights? Thanks in advance!

Trying to create a report for our dashboard to include a specific Milestone Timeline entry that is added at the company level, but then within that timeline the Associated Record = Relationship and then the various relationships are chosen (often times more than one).    However, when we do this and run a report the relationship column doesn’t list the R360 associated relationship name which is really the GS Relationship Name.    It seems the only way to make that Associated Relationship name populate is to copy the C360 timeline entry to the clipboard and paste it into the R360 account by creating a duplicate timeline Milestone entry which is redundant work.  See below for an example where that was done: We essentially want the Relationship name to populate in this column if the C360 Milestone timeline activity had the Associated Records Relationship selected.

Hello there inSpirers and inSpirees,Our Communities saw an increase of spam accounts being created during Good Friday and Easter Monday. They even posted a few spammy posts (but nothing inappropriate, just some “tests” and gibberish texts).Usually it happens only once every other month, but this time we had a handful occasions on the same day (Easter Monday).I am assuming that the Holidays  are a primetime for Bots and Spammers because Moderators are notoriously Out of Office - but I wonder if anybody else has had some similar experiences?

Hello! Is there a way to configure the table of contents so that when you click a link(anchor tag), the heading that you’re taken to is shown in the middle of the screen instead of at the top of the screen? Today the information isn’t centered which can be quite misleading when trying to find the correct information. In this example, I click “Test 3” in the TOC - but the heading(Title: Test 3) is hidden under our custom header:(we have customised various article components, so our TOC and Callout-cards doesn’t look like the standard from gainsight)  Clicking “Test 3”  The more logical presentation is that the content would be shown in the middle or slightly above the middle of the screen. Is there a way to adjust this in custom CSS or TPS?😁

Hello all, We are working on embedding videos into our community. I know that the popular uploading services are supported. However, some of our users will be blocked from YouTube and those websites due to a firewall. Long story short - is there any way to work around the embed by URL process? Can I hyperlink a photo to take it somewhere else? I tried using a code in the backend, but it looks like only one code bracket can be used at a time? This is the closest I got: Embed via url in back end: https://www.screencast.com/t/LNZJFV5e What it looks like on front end: https://www.screencast.com/t/nc4rzrvgK1 I'm not finding any topics on this, and I'm new to the community and would love to learn more about how I can possibly do this or if inSpired has any insight on their coding support. Thank you!

I need to calculate the average ICP score per platform, which seems like a simple report/calculation. However, when I group by platform, I can only select the COUNT OF option, and AVERAGE isn’t an available option. What am I missing?

If you’re looking to separate your learners’ page of assigned courses from your course catalog, and also enable a more personalized and engaging homepage experience in your Academy, we suggest turning on Website and Catalog within CE!  Why Enhance Your Homepage?Your homepage serves as the gateway to your learning program, so its essential to make a good first impression! 🤝 Use this opportunity to create a visually aesthetic experience that aligns with your product and company’s brand, a welcoming message that highlights the purpose of your Academy and what they can take away from your learnings, and suggested featured courses to guide learners from the jump.  Key Benefits of an Enhanced Course Catalog:A single catalog streamlines the process of CE admins adding available content for all without assigning it. Also, your learners can easily discover and self-enroll into any topics relevant to them. If your learners don’t want to search your rich catalog alphabetically, they have the abi

Recently a new feature was rolled out that meant, if the search bar was used within a category, a tag was added to the search that ensure that the search results only show topics from that category. This is good. I notice that the same functionality doesn’t exist for groups. When I use the search bar in a group, it takes me to search but it just looks at my search term. There is no filtering for groups. There isn’t even an option to select groups or a specific group in the search results.  This is a limitation.  We use a hidden group for staff members. If they use the search bar in that group, I want the search results to exclude anything outside of that group.  Am I correct in thinking this functionality is missing?

Hi community folks,I’m building a job postings board. It will show articles in a “Job Posting” category. The Dynamic Content widget seems a perfect fit for this scenario...But I can’t customize a category page to add it.I put it on a custom page instead, and everything looks great...But the category page still exists and shows up on the mega-menu. I just can’t see a way to have a page with a custom list of articles that is somehow separate from the rest of the infrastructure. So…Is there a way to hide a category, but let its articles be visible on a Dynamic Content widget? Can I somehow replace the menu link to the category with one to the custom page?Am I overlooking another solution that’s obvious and simple?! Any thoughts appreciated.Mark

Snowflake is one of the fastest growing data platforms in the market, and use of the Snowflake Connector among Gainsight’s clients has been growing rapidly as well. So it’s important that everyone understands how to best use this Connector for accurate data ingests. When the Snowflake connector runs as scheduled, it checks for data with a timestamp that falls between the current time and the last time the connector was run. The timestamp field is designated within the connector, so you can choose the right field for the connector to use to determine when that row was added or modified. This field is labeled “Reference for last modified date” within the connector. If that timestamp reflects the actual time that the row was added to Snowflake, everything works as expected.Example Sequence of Events 1 - Works as ExpectedThe Snowflake connector is configured to use the Date Added field to determine which rows to pull into Gainsight. At May 1 00:00 (midnight), the connector runs and finds no

Hello fellow Community Managers!  Wishing everyone a happy day. 🤓 I’m currently in the middle of an exciting beta launch for our customer peer-to-peer support community. In preparation for my launch I seemed to have focused so much on making sure our community members (customers) having guidelines and resources in place that I forgot all about my peers. Does anyone have resources when it comes to internal guidelines? Think permissions, rules on engagement, dos/don’ts, SLA, style guide or “tone” of community, content submission procedures (for article type posts), best practices for length of said content submissions.Any and all documentation to set expectations with your peers so there is a unified voice when it comes to community participation. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts/suggestions/resources. Thank you!Genells

I had a great conversation with one of our PX customers last week about this use case.      As a refresher, PX does not create PX Users and User attributes on its own.  PX relies on your user/account data to be passed through the PX Identify call code in your applications, developer inserts/updates using our PX REST API, imports/updates using our PX Data Loader, mapped fields synched with the CRM system using our Salesforce integration, and/or updates from the Customer Success platform using our new “Load to PX” CS Rule Action type.   All of the above are great options for creating rich PX User profiles with many attributes that can be leveraged for PX Analytics and PX Engagement targeting … plus many other use cases for sure.     So, the specific use case that we discussed was… “In addition to application usage data, how can PX help us to collect additional user information that we do not already have available within our business systems, such as job role, job responsibility, i
