I like the automated milestones that can appear on the customer journey widget, but the formatting for the ARR one is terrible and cannot be updated either. This seems like an easy thing to fix, but support said product has not committed to doing so. Hopefully this idea post gains some traction.
It would be great if the survey analyze tab/survey reporting within the survey module had the option to “publish as dashboard” for the survey results. We find the reporting within the survey incredibly helpful but we have people who need to see just the survey data and don’t need access to do anything else within the survey. Instead of us trying to recreate versions of all that reporting in a dashboard it would be a great time saver while also allowing less room for error if we could just publish the already existing reports. It would also help with our permissions because people who need just that access have to have specific permissions when all they need is the reporting. Again, this would be a huge time saver for us and a great improvement on our reporting process overall. Thanks!
I’d love to be able to create a dashboard and then give viewing access to one of our clients for them to review the data. Is this possible?
It appears that data designer somehow strips away the URL feature to some fields like Call to Action Name, Success Plan Name if those objects are included in the data design. For example, I created a data design and brought in the Call to Action and User Object. Merged both objects with the fields I wanted, one of which was the Call to Action Name. I created a report and applied it to a dashboard. The report shows the Call to Action name, but it’s just a string text and the URL has been stripped. As an end user, I cannot click on the Call to Action name to take me to that CTA. I would now have to copy and paste the Call to Action name and search it via cockpit. WOOF :( It really kills adopting new reports designed via data designer bc the lack of functionality overshadows the innovative data gathering via data designer
We need the ability to hide templates from Gainsight Assist, while still allowing them to be visible to Email Assist. We have templates that we need to be strictly tied to CTAs for reporting reasons, but they are also visible through Gainsight Assist which is confusing for our end users and results in emails getting sent that are not tied to CTAs. Folders are needed to be able to group templates together in the Gainsight Assist and Email Assist views. We have multiple teams (not just CSMs) in Gainsight and need a better way of keeping these organized.
I have a Rich text area field on an object that is loading to a Textarea field in SFDC. It appeared in SFDC with all of the HTML code in addition to the text. I discovered that I needed to use Prepare Dataset to strip the HTML out. I think it would be better to just choose the latter because you can pick a single object. I realize that for Select an Object it says “If the data is ready to use and is stored in a single Object” but it’s hard to anticipate that ready to use has unexpected limitations.thanksdave
Hi, we are a SaaS Company and use the community to get improvement ideas from our clients. Votings are a first indication on the importance of ideas, but our development would like to get some more details on the usefulness and importance of ideas for our clients. Therefore we’d like to have a more detailed Voting functionality for ideas, that exceeds a simple “upvote”. A rating scale to a question like:How important is this idea for you?Not important Nice-to-haveImportantCriticalWould also include votes from users, that don’t see an idea as important and would give a better understanding, if an idea is just a nice to have or a critical blocker. This would be a big benefit for our development to e able to prioritize user ideas.
Can we get conditional (If/else if/else) statements in filters? AND and OR logic is helpful, but it would be great to have conditional logic as well. It is true that some if statements can be handled with some fancy and/or groupings, but this would allow greater flexibility on what to include or exclude. Having a report that would allow me to say: IF (X and Y) ELSE (A or B) would be fantastic. That is a small use case example, but the implications would be much more value for anwhere you use logic to create something: reports (regular and data designer), filters, rules, queries, programs you name it. And to be clear, I’m talking about adding this in addition to case logic for formula and conditional fields.
In our Gainsight instance, when creating a CTA, it’s difficult to browse all the available playbooks that exist for each CTA type. Only a limited number of charcters are shown, and the playbook search column width is fixed, which makes it very difficult to see the full playbook title. This is applicable on both the "Apply Playbook" and "Replace Playbook" screens. Please could this be improved? The “search” feature is a workaround however does not account for undocumented playbooks.
I create product updates that look like this: But when someone is subscribed to the Product Update channel they get an automated message like this: The body preview uses the Variable: {topic content} Can we have some formatting for this variable?Better yet, can it just take a screenshot of the top 800 pixels and use that as the {topic content preview}?
Our customers advised that they would like to use Query Builder to run reports based on browser type and usage. At the moment, this feature does not exist in PX.
Currently it is not possible to change the model of a Program in Journey Orchestrator after it has already been set to Active. To get around this, our team has been cloning Programs multiple times in order to have different “test” versions before we are able to create a “final” version by cloning the last test. As a result, we have a number of “Test” versions of programs that we don’t want to delete (so we can still have earlier versions), but we don't want to see them in the list of All Programs after they’ve been paused or stopped. It would be great to be able to “archive” a program so that it’s still accessible to view if we ever want to go back to a previous version, but so it doesn’t clutter up the list of programs used by our teams.
Ideally, opportunity would have a real time sync back to SFDC as there are fields the CSMs are required to update. Additionally, this would allow for a better sync for CSQLs that are configured to create Opps
Reference Ticket 297911When filtering a Call to Action report for a Reporting Categories, only the Call to Action reporting categories should be displayed. Currently, all Reporting categories for all objects appear, meaning there is more than 1 Open and it is unclear which to use. The proposed work-around is to run a report on reporting categories, filtered for call to actions and copy the GSID for a specific reporting category to the Call to Action report filter. This defeats the purpose of having reporting categories and is not a viable solution for end users who might want to add a filter to a report on a dashboard and do not have access / knowledge for how to find and use the GSID.
Hi team, I heard that currently we don’t have segment connector in the EU region for the horizon Experience. I see that most of the customers from EU region are looking to use Segment connector. Hence, it would be great if we prioritize this request. Best,Hardik
Currently when you use search in the Control moderation view: Current search UXI’d love to see this also search the Tags. At least public tags. Use case: Content auditing.
Would be very cool to award a badge to users automatically if their comment is marked as “Best Answer.” For early stage communities, that could be highly motivating!
Is there any reason why Success Snapshots are automatically made active upon creation? This seems inconsistent with literally every other part of Gainsight’s product. Can we please consider changing that to inactive, allowing the Admin to toggle to active when ready?
In that video I take you through my experience trying to check on a schedule of a Program. It looks like, at the Program level, the schedule configuration is not retained. You have to go to the main scheduling page to confirm that your program is set correctly. You cannot see the currently configured schedule when you are at the Program level.
Account, Success Plan name, type and status are used as an identifier for the success plan action in rules. So, if there is already a success plan with the initially mentioned four entities (Account, Success Plan name, type and status), then rule will not create new success plan, rather it will just update the existing one. But the problem occurs when any success plan is created by a rule with draft status, then when the status is changed to active and rule runs again, a new Success Plan will be created with same name with draft status since status is one among the four default identifiers. Is there a way by which we can restrict this by a rule or having an optional identifier/s?
As a Gainsight Admin, I would like to be able to associate a milestone to a CTA when creating an automatic milestone through Horizon Rules. Requirements:On Load to Activities/Field Mapping, add field Associated Records in addition to Milestone Type.
