Hi Team,I am using GS to create some lovely dashboards and need to be able to group data by 3 fields. This limits however the possibility of displaying the data and in my case the column chart would be the winner. However I noticed that there is a limitation in the combinations of Show Me and Group By fields from the Visualization Types. Would this be something you could consider for the next releases?Thank you.

Hey there, I wanted to outline an issue that I think may be a enhancement request or possibly partially a bug.We utilize NXT Hyrbid so there is still a pretty tight connection with our SFDC data. Often times we receive CSV data that we upload for program participants.Currently, it is possible to map a SFDC user id to the “Manager External User ID”. We are not using “Map to Gainsight standard fields” so we are mapping SFDC Account id and Contact ids instead of Company and Person ids to the External Account and Contact id dields. The first problem is that we are allowed to do this. I’m sure there is a technical reason why we need to use GS User GSID for CTA creation on Hyrbid NXT but it doesn’t quite make sense to me why it is still asking for an “external id” as for other mappings it is asking for “external” account and contact ids which SFDC ids work just fine. It should be named more appropriately if this is functioning correctly.The

Hello,  Currently, the notes text box for Share 360 is only formatted for plain text. Our team is beginning to use Share 360 heavily for operational reviews with customers and would like to have rich text formatting for bullet lists, etc. 

Hello! My team has started using Share 360 with customers for operational reviews. We are having success saving lots of time with the tool as a replacement for a spreadsheet that was previously updated with SFDC data manually. Customer feedback has been positive and they enjoy having real time access to the data. An enhancement that the team has requested involves sharing information that does not pertain to a specific account or set of accounts, rather it would be considered “global” in nature. Examples include: Sharing Support escalation contacts (the same for all customers) via a SFDC contacts report. Sharing announcements via SFDC campaign object.  Would it be possible to somehow address this use case?

Date fields of the object have a timezone appended on c360 page. Thare is a ask that Can we remove the timezone from these fields on C360 page. Thank you!

Would like the ability to hard-code in the heat map scale instead of the scale auto-adjusting to the data. A dashboard with multiple heat map reports can have 40% be green, yellow and red depending on the other values near it. It would be desirable for report admins to be able to have the option for auto or manual scaling for heat maps.

Hi,Our CSMs often create follow-up tasks directly from a Timeline Entry (e.g. Call). Currently, we are only able to add Timeline Activity Id on the Task Layout.Nevertheless, I don't see how this is helpful for CSMs identifying in which Timeline Activity they created the Task. Often they want to go back and read through the Timeline Activity Notes when working on the Task.Ideally I'd like to at least display the Timeline Activity Name (=Subject) here. Best case would be if we can display the name that is linked to the Activity itself, so CSMs can look it up with one click.Do you have any plans of adding this option?Thanks,Anita

Hey Team, Working with a customer and we are looking fro a way to enable a "sticky" data on a field in the "Group By" section of the report.In the attached screen shot, the highlighted label defaults to a "Show Me" field (SUM of ARR), but I'd like it to show a "Group By" field (Customer Name).     

I’ve just started using formula fields in my reports, and they are so powerful!However, I found that I’m not able to create a formula field label that includes a number or special character.Is it possible to add this to the formula fields functionality in report builder?  

In the scenario when a user who created the accessKey has left the company and hence, became inactive. Now, the calls to the permissions ecosystem are failing as a result of this.In order to have the behavior consistency in all API key mechanisms it would be possible not allowing deactivate the User, if the user has generated an access key.Ex: When batch updating the status of Success Plan via the API, we are noticing "Query building error." 

When building a bubble map report (or probably any report), it would be nice to be able to select which field the data label enables. Currently, it appears to default to a specific “Show Me” field - it looks like the field not associated with an axis - which isn’t really relevant/beneficial in some use cases. The ability to switch this level to any field would be helpful. A use case would be on a bubble map report, you put the customer name in the “Group By” field and would prefer to enable the customer name label.  

I got this from one of our CSMs:   You know what would be cool?   If Gainsight had the ability to scan the emails we put in, or the names, and auto-include them on the Internal/External section. For timeline activities.   That would be really cool.

Hi team, When ever user change the license type and permission bundle they need have one more step to send Welcome email.  When ever they save changes User status move to pending, if a Welcome is triggered manually then it shows “Welcome email sent “ but User did not received it, Customer wants to change the message to that “Status is in pending, send Welcome later” or the email should be delivered properly.  

When @mentioning a user in a topic in a privet or hidden group, I was expecting an error message likeThis person has not yet joined the group and will not be notifiedwhen I attempt to @mention user courtney_hauser in our community who haven't accepted my invite/ or the @mention dropdown to only offer me the courtneys who are a part of the group already (which is 0)?      For Public groups it should be fine as it serves as a teaser for user to Join the Group@Yoeri , @Marion

Starburst Enterprise is a data mesh solution that can be used as a data source within enterprise BI tools (like Tableau or PowerBI). It would be incredibly beneficial to be able to leverage the tables in our Starburst instance as datasources within Gainsight (similar to the way the Snowflake connector allows for tables in Snowfake to be used as data sources today) without data duplication as a requirement.

It would be great to combine the Badge to launch an engagement with the hotspot animation. This would be helpful for new content that you want to direct a user’s attention to. Then, I’d want the animation to stop but the badge to remain after the user has clicked on the badge and viewed the engagement one time.

B2B companies that implement SSO will therefore rely on the work address of their users, but some communities can be valuable after a member is no longer a customer. Think of InSpired: Today I am at Smartly.io and my account on InSpired is tied to that email address. But if I leave and become a community manager elsewhere, or introduce InSided to a my new company, wouldn’t it be nice for me to retain my status and network of 1-1 communications within InSpired?While switching email address could be a problem how about a recovery email address? I’ve actually spent quite a bit of time implementing this via the InSided API using a custom field which seems to work well. However this is very custom and I’d much rather it was supported out of the box! Happy to share more if there is interest of course.

We moved over from a Slack community to Insided and one of the things we’re missing (and users are missing) is the ability for them to search each other to strike up conversations.

We’re rebuilding our ranking system, and while gathering feedback from the superuser group, a few of them mentioned that they don’t like to stand out among the rest of the community members - it feels like they have a target on their back.While users can remove badges, reputation and the user title from their display, their username and avatar will still show up with all the bells and whistles (rank icon, username icon, username styling (including color)).I would like for users to be able to not display the username styling, if they don’t want it, just like they can remove badges etc.This also allow us to create a ranking structure where we don’t have to work around the mighty few, but can focus on the structure in its entirety.Cheerios! 

As a community manager or moderator, it would be very helpful to be able to share a topic with other users via direct message.Typically as a team manager, if I want a team member to go and address a given question/idea, I have to copy the URL and paste it into an e-mail or a direct message which is not very practical.

As a GS customer, I want the emails that are sent with an alias to customers using our customer marketing software (Iterable, Mailchimp, etc.) to log correctly to timeline so that I can keep visibility of marketing emails within timeline for my CSMs.ContextThe emails that we send using our marketing software tie the names of our CSMs to an alias email (example: success@mail.gainsight.com). We need to access this information on a regular basis. Right now, we can access the bcc email addresses, but have to generate the API key each time to see this info. Allow the inbound emails checkbox to automatically check off for new users so that we do not have to manually check this box every time we add a new user. 

Is it on the roadmap, or is it possible that we can have a calendar view of Timeline on the Global Timeline and the C360/R360 Timeline? The use case is that this is normally in project management tools such as smartsheet, monday.com, etc. and it helps create a holistic view for that customer to be able to see how the month’s activity vs scrolling and filtering for dates in a linear format.  Show: Name of Timeline Activity or Count of specific timeline activity type Filter Options: Specific Account (when viewing via C360), User’s Accounts  (global), Timeline Activity Type (Call, Meeting, etc.), Custom filter to see all business reviews for example Views: Daily, Weekly, Monthly (monthly being a higher priority) Also requesting this for CTA’s / Success Plans Subjects 

While the number of people we can send private messages to is limited to 50, it would be great if the 50 names could be added in one go - for e.g uploading a csv file It takes a lot of time and effort to add each one individually. In case there is a way to do this already, please let me know!

Currently, in X-org migration in order to migrate a dashboard, it is required to select all reports that are in dashboard and objects that these reports are based on. If we can provide an option where if we select a dashboard all reports and objects should be selected default it would be super helpful and save time. 

Activity Date should be added into emails for Meetings, Calls, Other sent from Gainsight by "Share via Email".
