It would be very helpful to see custom properties in the learner profile section of Gainsight CE. Today, we only see the standard profile fields: This enhancement would help us:Confirm that our automations and workflows are working correctly, and populating custom values accurately Allow quick troubleshooting to understand why a specific learner isn’t included in a group or being assigned a training Be an indicator to new admins that our academy is collecting custom fields per learner
It would great if the arrows that show up for influencers once you click on them were just present in the first view of the map instead of having to click and see. This is what shows up, but only after I click on the Influencer icon.
I’d love a Gainsight Admin mobile app or mobile device friendly version of the browser interface. I work on my iPad Pro regularly, but am limited in what I can do with rules, reports, and other administrative functions.
We’re working on getting our teams to adopt People Maps, and it would be great if there was some sort of color coding capability with a legend. For example, a decision maker might have a blue background where as a user might have a purple. This would help someone quickly glance at the map and see where they might want to focus their time or communication.
I think I’ve made this suggestion elsewhere but I couldn’t find a post, so I’m writing it up here just in case. The idea: Please add a toggle to the scheduling config in Data Designer jobs for “Cumulative”. This toggle would cause the Data Designer job to append new records to the existing dataset on every run, vs overwriting the entire table with fresh data. As Data Designer continues to take a more prominent role in Gainsight, it has basically replaced using rules to load to a custom MDA when admins require a complex dataset. This is well and good - it’s basically the same, but the Data Designer job creates an MDA and schema for us. Awesome! There’s one major catch: DD can’t handle timeseries data collection, because it overwrites the old dataset on each run. This makes it unsuitable for “snapshot” style datasets, among other things - we’d have to fall back to the older method of routing data to a custom MDA via a rule for that. In order to elevate the utility of Data Designer to the next level, a toggle allowing us to choose whether each DD job behaves iteratively (overwrites the entire dataset with fresh data each time) or cumulatively (appends new records and keeps the old data) would eliminate the functionality gap that brings us back to the older method via rules. This absolutely does need to be a TOGGLE, specific to each DD job, and controllable by the admin - some use-cases for DD (JO sources especially) are still best served by the iterative behavior.
If I filter on a multipicklist field in my program by doing ‘Excludes’ and select the values that I want to be excluded from the query, you’d think that would bring in any account that doesn’t have the excluded value. But after troubleshooting why certain accounts weren’t meeting my criteria I realized that it was due to their field value being null. Essentially if you are filtering a multipicklist field, it limits the audience to only the accounts that have a value in that field and any account with a null is not considered in the filter logic. You’d think by definition an account with a null value meets the criteria because it does not have the excluded value. This is not at all intuitive to a user. Adding the screenshot from similar idea and merging the IdeaHi.Currently, we don’t have an option to choose/select the “Include Null Values” for the Multi-Select Picklist fields in Rules and/or JO Query Builder. When ever we drag the multi select picklist field in to a filter section (Ex: in Rules) we have to choose either Includes or Excludes option only and unable to select the “Include Null Values” as well. Like how we have this option for Picklist Data type fields.Screenshots for the same: Due to unavailable of this option we are unable to get the Null value rec
I have customers asking for our product team to incorporate CES Rating into CX Center. It would be incredibly helpful to have all three available for analysis: NPS, CSAT and CES.
I should be able to mark a playbook as Inactive when it is associated to an artifact that is also Inactive.Instead, I get a message saying I can’t mark the playbook as inactive because it is being used in a success plan template (that has been deactivated...).I should not need to remove the playbook from the Success Paln template in order to deactivate it.
It would be beneficial to provide an inline description for the field that the user is required to complete. For instance, in the case of Success Plans, when a field is presented in the layout, it would be helpful to guide the user in entering the necessary information.
Unlike in standard Horizon Rules, there is not a ‘Duplicate’ function in Real-Time Rules currently. As a result, we have to manually construct each rule from scratch. This is cumbersome and time-consuming in situations where we want to create multiple rules that are nearly identical w/minor differences.Since the ‘Duplicate/Clone’ feature exists throughout Gainsight modules (Reports, DD, JO, Survey) don’t know why it doesn’t exist in Real-Time Rules too. Please update! Thanks.JJ
Creating this in behalf of the user @mbond So far Gainsight offers the adjustments of columns per user in their Home pages.Meaning that if our user wants to bring some columns forward on their Home page - they can do it.But after the page is refreshed all the custom-made setups are reverted to default. The only workaround is to create a duplicated report and adjust it by the need of our user.Would be very nice to have the possibility of saving custom-made adjustments for their own Home pages.
Once a playbook has been mapped to a task, there is no way to unmap it. An admin’s only options are to 1) replace the playbook with an existing one or 2) delete the task completely and re-create it without a playbook mapped to it.Please add the ability to unmap an already mapped playbook. This is just a big miss on basic user experience for the new Success Plan template editor.
Hello! Posting this as an Idea here, although I acknowledge there’s a workaround (which I’ll detail towards the end). With the switch to Horizon rules, it appears as though the behavior when adding a token to what’s meant to be a complete and working hyperlink in CTA comments has changed. In Bionic rules, it was possible to tokenize a portion of a URL to make dynamic hyperlinks to thinks like SFDC assets. In fact, it worked beautifully and required very little extra work on our part. In the new Horizon rules, that behavior no longer works - the hyperlink is cut off at the start of the tokenized data (even if you manage to insert the token in the config step without breaking the hyperlink there, the output is only partially linked). The workaround for this involves using an additional transform step to concatenate text and create the entire URL within the rule itself which is...fine...but does involve an entire extra step and isn’t as quick and easy as the old token method. Creating these dynamic hyperlinks in CTA comments is an awesome ability which users really appreciate. It would be awesome if we could maintain the Bionic rule behavior when it comes to handling hyperlinks in comments - that was really convenient and easy to manage.
We can clone many things, but not Tasks. Please add the ability to clone Tasks to reduce administrative burden of repetitive data input when buliding playbooks.
I had created Activity Type in Activities and Timelines but when I tried to delete the same it shows "Cannot be deleted as it is being used in Activities.". How to find the activities usage?
Ability to set a CTA due date off of another date (aka term start date or contract sign date) instead of just the rule date. Example: I want to set up a Quarterly Biz Review CTA for month 5 of the clients annual term. However, since I am just setting this up today, I don't want it to run for all historical clients (aka creating overdue CTA's for clients who signed up over 5 months ago) so I set the rule start date to 5 months back. Since I want to CTA due date to be 5 months from the contract sign date, I can set the due date to 145 days from rule date, but that makes every new client who signed up in the past 5 months, to have their QBR for 5 months from today (the day I run the rule, and not 5 months from their contract start date)
Allow for Funnels to show Branching. Imagine you have a step that is taken more than 15 times over the course of use in an application. For example: if you use Photoshop and you want to know what are all the immediate next steps users take after adding a new layer to their designs. They may create 100 layers and take over 500 steps in their photoshop application before making the layer. This would be impossible to track using the path analyzer. The path analyzer only shows 10 steps. And who want to search through a tree to find all the instances of the action. If layers were created in step, 2,6,10,12,15,16,17,22 you would lose visualization to interactions. if you had a way to treat all steps as one line then show all the immediate next steps, this would be helpful.
The new Gainsight Home is really flexible and customizable - a far cry from the old version. I love to see it.However, there’s some unnecessary design elements going on. This KPI icon in my custom KPI reports for the summary ribbon is completely unnecessary. It takes up valuable space, and actually makes the KPI less noticeable. The purpose of a KPI report is simplicity - just a title and a number. Adding this icon puts the focus on the icon instead of the report. The number is smaller than the icon….Please remove the unnecessary KPI icon.In fact, there was a similar post in the old version of report builder (pre-Horizon) where people also wanted the icon removed. That says a lot to me.
Problem: When users open the knowledge bot > Feedback tab, they see a generic “HI” in the top left corner, instead of user initials. We don’t allow PX to collect collect PII from users, so PX doesn’t have users’ names or email address to display here.Solution: Add a knowledge bot setting to turn off displaying user name/initials/email address on the Feedback tab. This would reduce confusion for users submitting feedback, and ensure the bot doesn’t look broken. When editing the bot, should be able to turn off displaying user initials icon, User Name, and email address.
When building a rule to create a CTA it would be great to have a checkbox option that will tell rules to ignore case reassignment rules so CTA's aren't reassigned to the wrong user or queues. Maybe somewhere during the setup action:
