When you change the owner of the Success Plan, it doesn't change the owner of any of the objectives or tasks, and you have to do each separately. Could you get the same prompt for when you change the owner of CTAs so that you don't have to do the Success Plan, and then, all the objectives?
We need the ability to only let administrators delete CTAs. We would like our reps to close the CTAs and not delete them.
Apply CTA for multiple accounts Manually. Scenario: if a user has to go through a process of adding a CTA manually and has to replicate this for all the accounts that he/she is responsible for, currently the only way is to get into a Customer360 page for all the accounts and create the CTA or through the Cockpit Tab. It would be easier/convenient (flexibility) if the user is allowed to select multiple accounts from a drop down while creating the CTA.
Customer is using a custom status for Closed CTA's (Completed = ClosedWon). When a CSM closes all of the tasks for the CTA, they expect the CTA to close out automatically. Feature request for option to close out CTA when all the tasks are completed.
Hi - an idea that was shared with my by one of my customers was related to creating CTAs automatically through Outlook/Google calendar integration. The use case is as follows: CSM creates a calendar meeting request to their customer to schedule a meeting. While in the calendaring app, they have an option to click a button that will sync that meeting to a CTA in Gainsight. The CTA will be created using relevant content from the meeting request (some details will have to be worked out as to how the correct customer is selected and how other mandatory fields are populated) CTA is now ready to be actioned upon once the meeting is held and the notes are added to the CTA or chatter feed for that customer. This would allow for reduction of an extra manual step and will especially assist in cases where customers do not have standing recurring meetings, but instead meet in an ad-hoc basis.
We’re on the cusp of rolling out Staircase org wide, and as part of that we’re doing some retros with Staircase and existing CS risk/health data. One issue I’m noticing, is we’re getting feedback from CSMs validating signals from Staircase that come back as “non-issues”. Spot checking some, the Risk agent has maybe a 4/5 on the Risk Scale. However, the agent info is 2+ months out of date at this point: Maybe I’m missing something, but this seems a little antithetical to fresh/real time data Staircase offers. I’m not saying I doubt the validity of this when it was generated, but serving this months old report as if it’s still accurate seems a bit disingenuous. Can we get regular updates to these? Have a user be able to manually refresh it so if they think it seems off they can force Staircase to “recalculate”, at the very least?@bradybluhm
I recently made a post and had to tag 56 people individually - it would be cool if I @’d a specific group in one of my discussion forums for everyone in that group to get tagged.
Staircase can do some great stuff, but only if people can see the output.I went from a Topic report, to the Risk and dissatisfaction topic breakdown report, and the two don’t match. It’s not even close.Last 90 days there are 700+ events, last 180 days 1500+.When I drill down, I get 0 or <6 respectively. I know there’s data, and I’ve opened this before with data in it. I also know that Staircase has a habit sometimes of just kinda...not rendering things?Uptime needs to be at least 10x better than it is right now. I get random “network error” or “too much data” or similar messages and have to reload or refresh the tool. Not a great experience for anyone. When there is a loading issue, do a better job of showing an error, not just plainly stating there’s no data as if it’s fact. This is also dangerous and will turn people off of the platform. This specific issue might just be a bug, but it’s not the first time this has happened either.cc @bradybluhm
We've recently removed licenses from several users, and they had open CTAs and customized notification settings when we removed them. They continued to receive email notifications since they still had open CTAs. I was able to use Mass Edit to remove the CTAs to stop the emails, but had a few suggestions for notifications: 1. Once a user no longer has a license, they can no longer adjust their notification settings. So, yes, in theory, they wouldn't be receiving any additional notifications, but it would be nice if the notification settings were removed once their license was removed. OR 2. It would be nice for the Admin to be able to view the notification settings per user and adjust as needed.
In Salesforce we have many "tooltips" to help guide the CS team if they are unsure of the purpose of a specific field. It would be great to enable tool tips in Gainsight as well!
We cannot see Person section in C360 in a sorted order and even we cannot sort manually
Since the threaded replies update, the upvote button on ideas has moved to the bottom alongside likes and replies. I feel that this is making it less intuitive to find and act on.Ideas are high-intent actions and members often arrive at an idea specifically to vote, and the placement should reflect that intent. What I'd love to see:Vote count & vote action ability visible prominently - ideally at the top of the idea Upvote placement reconsidered for ideas specifically Overall clearer visual distinction between ideas and regular posts
AI follow-up Timeline Activities for meetings and emails are currently posted on the Company only. As we fully work on the Relationship level, Relationship support is crucial to make sure the entries are being picked up in our processes. We currently have AI follow-up for meetings enabled. The idea is that CSMs manually reparent the Activities; unfortunately, this rarely happens in practice. This is also why we cannot enable automated email logging, as this will cause too many Activities that are wrongly tied to Company instead of Relationship.
I don’t think this idea has been posted before. Truth is these days a like-only button doesn’t seem enough, and internet users tend to prefer having more options when it comes to reacting to a topic or comment. Perhaps Slack-style is too much for a community forum, but I think LinkedIn has offered a good balance. These are the reactions I see can be quite useful: like, love, support, useful, funny, sad, insightful.
We’ve had Staircase rolled out for a while now, we do not need “New” to be listed on the tab of our C360 (it’s just plain incorrect!). Please can you remove this hard coded part of the UI?
Some of our users have requested an option to switch the community itself to a Dark Mode. Most of these users enjoy listening to music on Deezer Web or via our desktop app, at night - and flicking a switch to make the colours of the community dark, would be a good addition
Our customers would love to have the ability to search through the members database. For example: they are looking for other members within the same workfield of with a certain expertise, so they can easily get in touch with them of follow them. This feature would also be very helpfull to us as the community team: For example: we can filter members by expertise, get in touch with them, build relationships with them and stimulate user generated content We are a B-2-B software company. I am curious to see whether other (B-2-C) companies would also consider this feature as valuable.
Hi,Within the new Gainsight Home feature, it would be great if we could add aliases to the filter names so that our CSMs don’t get confused if there are two filters with the same overall name. I know this functionality already exists in the Horizon Analytics Report Builder, and it would be great to bring this functionality to Home. It looks like currently if I move my cursor over the filter, the path is explained, but I rather save this step for our CSMs and just have the filter explicitly state what it’s filtering. As seen below, filter C is referring to the CSM Name and filter D is referring to the Intel Services Rep name, but they both show as “name” and this will get confusing to our CSMs. Thanks!
Right now, when an AI agent using the Gainsight MCP server calls the object metadata tool to inspect a field, it only gets back fieldName, label, dataType, and lookup/picklist info — not the field's Description or help text that we already fill in during field configuration. That's a real gap for anyone building AI workflows on top of Gainsight: the agent has to rediscover a field's meaning by trial and error, even when we've already documented it in the UI. Concrete example we hit: one of our custom lookup fields actually stores an external system ID rather than a Gainsight GSID — exactly the kind of thing a one-line field description would explain, but the MCP tool has no way to surface it.Reports already do this well — reportDescription flows through the report metadata tool when it's filled in. Extending that same pattern to field-level descriptions on objects would make MCP-based agents meaningfully more reliable, with zero extra admin effort beyond what's already being documented today.
Sharing Groups are used to add data permissions to a group, including sharing i.e., analyze and distribute permissions to Gainsight users. But in Surveys, all references to these Sharing Groups mention “User Groups” which:Causes confusion Duplicates efforts maintaining groups (including if/when we apply criteria to dynamically manage groups)Can we either:Call a cat a cat - so reference sharing groups in Surveys and wherever we use sharing groups instead of calling them “User Groups” (because they are not) Better yet: merge sharing groups and user groups so we can manage data permissions and Gainsight permissions in one area of the platform
