As we begin to go live with many different campaigns being sent out of Journey Orchestrator -- we have become increasingly concerned with inundating our customers with email touch points without even knowing it. With multiple programs running in parallel for different purposes -- we are worried that numerous automated campaigns may have the same individual kicked into them at once when they meet the campaign's conditions to begin. It would be nice to have some sort of logic built into the system that recognizes "Bob has received emails from the 'Renewals' and 'Feature Adoption' programs today -- let's hold off on sending anymore to Bob until tomorrow even if he has emails queued up and ready to be sent to him today"
Hi Team,Currently we don’t have the feature to evaluate what is the reputation of an email address before delivering an email out to participants. It would be nice to have a feature that would pre-validate the spam scores/riskiness of an email before delivering them so that users can avoid spamming/reduce sending emails to such records
Hello Gainsight Team! The ability to merge accounts is fabulous, specially if you are like us and have tons of duplicate/bad accounts in SFDC that need cleaning up. Is there any plan to allow merging of relationships in the same way as merging of accounts? For us, if we merge an account, we also need to merge any relationships under those accounts (not always but in many cases anyway) and currently it seems that they are simply added / duplicated and can only be deleted which would mean losing the data Thanks Katerina
Posting on behalf of a customer. Recently we’ve released the company merge feature but customer is inquiring about the ability to merge relationships either at the relationship level or at the company level without having to merge the companies. I don’t think we have this functionality but thought it might be a good idea and wanted to inquire if this was being looked into.
Hi Team,When adding an activity under Gainsight's calendar widget for customer meetings, the company/relationship field is auto-filled based on the first external attendee. Often, We need to change the relationship due to users' multiple product associations, but this action removes all external attendees, even if they are also associated with the new relationship. This is inconvenient for meetings with many attendees. It would be helpful if the attendees were retained after a relationship change or if there were an option to copy and paste the attendee list. Regards,Vijayasailesh
Hey team!My CX Manager asked me about some auto reply functionality for emails we send via Gainsight, like renewal reminders. The idea would be to have this "no reply" with an automatic message forwarding customers to our help center / support ticket. At first I didn't find anything here.Does anyone know of any workarounds?I believe it would be a great feature for the product team to think about rs :)
It would be great if we could pre-filter sections on C360/R360 page layouts. For example if we wanted a section that only showed Person records with a role of ‘Advocate’, so that there’s a dedicated section to show the advocates and quickly get information about them. This would save the team time from having to scroll through/apply filters to the full list view.
Would love to have a report built that would be able to show us new content that was added in a certain timeframe. For example we have a few internal groups creating courses. It would be helpful to be able to report on new courses that have been added and who added them on a regular basis.
It would be great to help us drive adoption of Success Plans if CSMs could easily create new Plans within the new blue “Create” button under the C360, just like you can today with CTAs, Activities, and People.
You have the option to customize notifications for assigned tasks, but you cannot customize notifications for when tasks or CTAs (Calls to Action) are closed. For instance, if a CTA includes 10 tasks, the assignee of the CTA will receive a total of 11 emails after the completion of all tasks and the CTA itself. This often is overwhelming for our teams and we are looking to find ways to cut back on notifications cluttering their workflow.
Currently, only NPS engagements from PX will automatically be recorded in the CS NPS Survey Response object, and these engagements are limited to the NPS rating question and a comment. Unfortunately, we cannot include additional questions within the PX NPS engagement, and our only option is to trigger separate surveys after the completion of the in-app NPS survey. This can result in a poor user experience and disconnected data, which creates unnecessary work for the admin team. To obtain more relevant feedback on the NPS response, it would be beneficial to expand the capabilities of NPS engagements. This would allow the admin/CS/survey team to interact with users as desired while the user is engaged, providing greater flexibility. Consolidating questions into a single survey would also create a more pleasant user experience. Having a series of related in-app engagements can be confusing and may be segmented depending on the user session and survey logic. Our team would like to launch a single NPS survey that allows us to include additional questions with conditional branching logic applied to dictate which questions are asked based on the user's NPS (1-10) response, and these survey results should feed into the CS NPS Survey Response object. For instance, if the user gives a score of 10, ask if they are willing to provide a testimonial. On the other hand, if the user gives a score of 0, ask if they find value in the targeted communications. Implementing this request has several benefits, including improved user experience, increased survey completion rates, better data accuracy, a better admin experience, and reduced in-app traffic.
Data designer is great, especially for someone who doesn’t know SQL. However, often times I find Data Designer taking a lot longer than it would take to create a SQL query to accomplish the same thing. It also probably takes longer to load in Data Designer than it would with a SQL query.
One of our CSMs recently mentioned how she lives in her inbox and therefore it would be helpful if she could get notified of past due CTAs and tasks in her inbox. I know we could technically set this up via an internal JO program, but that’s (a.) too much overhead for this type of thing and (b.) a (possibly significant) portion of our end users would likely not want this type of notification. I also realize she could just check a report that contains all her overdue tasks/CTAs, but in the spirit of “bringing Gainsight to other tools” (rather than defaulting to pulling people from other tools and pushing into Gainsight), I think this is a valid ask. Plus it would allow individual users to set their own notification preference.
Hi, Currently in query builder, you can’t include the trigger date for any custom events. Therefore, if we want to look at when somebody has downloaded (a custom event) any content on our website, we can’t see when they downloaded. This is essential to understanding customer behaviour and affects our engagement reporting. Please add in the trigger date for custom events!
Customer Goals is a really cool feature but very fragmented from the rest of Gainsight’s features. Just search this community for “customer goals” and you’ll see requests to have them associated with other features to have these feature sets work in harmony. It really just makes sense! One that I’d love to see associate with Customer Goals is timeline activities. We use timeline activities to log achieved verified outcomes - but today there is no way to associate that timeline activity to the related customer goal. The result? A fragmented experience that misses out on high potential for reporting on customer outcomes.Giving the opportunity to associate a timeline activity to a customer goal allows CSMs to track progress towards goal attainment, gives admins a richer source & more integrated source of data for reporting, and improves the usability of Customer Goals as a feature overall.
Ability to capture and report on course evaluations with native technology (or via a productized integration) within Gainsight Education. It currently only supports embedded surveys, which makes it harder to report feedback when it’s in an external tool.
We would like the ability to create CTA templates. This would be for repetitive CTAs that are used often, but do not require the Rules Engine to create. Our CSMs want the ability to choose a CTA template for CTAs they create very often so they do not have to fill in all the information every time. This would help cut down on time to create multiple CTAs for multiple clients dramatically. Again, this would be outside the Rules Engine and a manual process so that it could be more specific.
ContextWhen using the ‘distribution of property’ option in the query builder, the data is automatically allocated into buckets that are defined by splitting the range of the data into five equal parts. ie if the range of the data is 0-100, the buckets will be something like 0-20, 21-40, 41-60, 61-80, 81-100. ProblemOutliers in the data will heavily skew the result, making the feature unusable. For example You have 100 logged events- 90 of them have a value between 1-10- 5 have a value of 11-20- 5 have a value of 100the buckets will be split from 0-20, 21-40, 41-60, 61-80, 81-100.You'll then have 95 of your events in bucket 1 (0-20) and 5 in bucket 5 (81-100) As a result you have no granularity on the bulk of the data which is all collated in 0-20, meaning you can’t extract any learnings Suggested solutionsAllow the user to set the bucket sizes, including an outer limit. ie 1”-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10+” It would also be helpful in this case to be able to set the number of buckets Allow the user to manually not include certain data samples to remove the skew. The caveat here is that if you have a lot of data this could take some time...so maybe it could be done as a part of the query ie ‘”Don’t include # > 20”
We are working on loading a bunch of content into the Federated Search. We are running into an issue with stale content in the community index. I know we can just clear the whole thing, but it takes a while to reload the whole index via API. I would be amazing if there was a GET so we could pull the whole index down and compare it against the current data we have and then delete the stale ones if they are not in the current list.
We need a way to filter ideas by their status AND a tag. The use case is we have user groups who would like to see all their ideas (which would be a tag, not a product area). Currently we can:Filter ideas by tag in the search (but no status filter): Filter ideas by status (but no tag):
It would be extremely useful to be able to preview the audience for an engagement. Right now, I know I can go into Audience Explorer and replicate most of the audience rules; it’s just time consuming and subject to human error.I recently made an engagement that had a complex set of 12 rules with varying AND/OR logic. Only 1 of those rules was realtime (xx feature in RIGHT NOW). It would have given me more peace of mind to have a quick preview of the possible audience, rather than relying on me accurately replicating each rule in Audience Explorer. One idea for how this could work:not take “realtime” rules like “URL/Feature in RIGHT NOW” into account when previewing the audience show a refreshable preview (as of xx:xx time and xx/xx date) of the audience based on the non-realtime rules like persona, customer segment, signup date, exclusion list, etc Similar to this request, just expanding on it a bit
Currently, as I understand it, Gainsight uses CompanyID and ContactID to know which Primary Company a Gong call will appear on. Likewise when there is someone on the call who’s ContactID is associated with multiple companies, it will create an Associated Record for the other companies as well. While this proves beneficial when dealing with external contacts representing a single company, its applicability becomes complex in scenarios involving partners or individuals associated with multiple companies, such as partners. In such cases, there is a risk of unintended creation of associated records for companies that were not initially linked to the call.
