Invite users to groups using invite linksTutorial

What are group invite links:Invite links are an easy way to invite users to groups.Any end user who clicks on a group invite link will automatically become a member of the group without having to click "Join" (public groups) or "Request to join" (private groups). For private groups, the invite links allow the applicant to bypass community manager approval.  End users automatically become group members, once they click on the join link. When to use group invite links:Invite links are available for public and private groups. You should use invite links if you aim to get as many members as possible to join your groups. We do NOT recommend using invite links for groups containing sensitive information. Draft Events - where to access them?

Hey! Love that we can save events as drafts, but having a hard time trying to find those drafts after saving. I saved the draft, went back into events page and not see it. And there are not filters to add to only show “draft” events.  How do i access “draft events?”

Add "count" to Courses page / count of pages / view quantity optionNew Idea

Our academy has thousands of courses and it would be incredibly beneficial on the backend to break this content down more than the preset 10 page view & left/right arrow to navigate from one page to the next.Course Count: Addition of a total course count at the top of the table. When a filter is applied, that count is responsive and adjusts based off the filter.  Page Count: Addition of a page count at the bottom of the courses table, indicating how many pages of content exist i.e. 1 of 19 pages (linked to easily navigate from page 1 to the last page, for example)  View Preferences: Addition of the option to select the number of courses you are viewing within one page. Currently the only option is 10, ideally we could add the options of 20 / 50 / 100 courses at one time.

Can you pull User Login History from the Gainsight API?

We would like to pull User Login History or at least Last Login Date from the Gainsight API, to facilitate internal reporting. There are things in G360 that aren’t calculated how we want them to be and we would like to centralize our software adoption reporting internally.

How do you manage your moderation queue?

Curious to know how other admins manage their moderation queue in the admin portion of the site.When you read an item -- or manually mark it as “read” -- it seems to disappear from the queue (at least until a new comment comes in). I’d like to maintain a zero moderation queue list, and I am curious if others do this, and what the most efficient way is to work in the moderation overview section.

Hierarchy for BadgesOpen

Badges seem to display on user profiles based on the order in which they were received. Communities (like mine) with robust badge gamification may want to set a hierarchy to badges, so that the most valuable/prestigious are listed first on a profile. Use cases: Showing most prestigious badges first (before the cutoff) on the leaderboard Manually applied badges that get added “out of order”For example, if a community has an onboarding badge, it’s likely to be the first badge earned by many users. Then, if a user becomes a super user with many more badges, the fact that they completed onboarding is the least valuable context in their badges. Visually, it’d be better to have that listed last.This would also likely visually diversify and add contextual value the leaderboard, with top users having different mixes of elusive badges listed first rather than the 5 easiest and then the +[#] roll up.  Potential solution: Control: Drag and drop hierarchy that works similar to ranks Front end: Bad

Minor, but not as intuitive: while testing a send in the new beta Dynamic JO builder, it took me awhile to find the “Log to Timeline” checkbox, and it’s not quite intuitive. Change "Unsubscribe" to "Manage preference" to allow users to customize their preference.Closed (Won't Do)

In emails sent to users, we can make the ending phrase more friendly. Instead of saying “Unsubscribe from community email campaigns,” we can change it to “Manage preferences.”This will let users keep getting emails, but only the ones they want. For instance, if a user only cares about new releases and artists, they'll still get emails about those, but not about things like product updates. This way, instead of losing contact with the user entirely, we'll still be able to reach out to them, but only about stuff they're interested in.Exemple found in the web:

Filterable RoadmapClosed (Won't Do)

Within ideas or Product Updates, it would be nice to have an extension for a true roadmap view. Within this view it would allow for filtering for different releases throughout the year (major/minor) different cadence. This would be so much more helpful to show B2B clients what to expect in the coming releases, etc.

Calendar invites and auto-emails for registered event attendeesOpen

Having the ability to create events is great, however not being able to send confirmation emails, reminder emails, or a calendar invite to attendee’s isn’t ideal. At least giving them the option to select iCal, Google Cal, etc. on the event attendee confirmation pop-up would be an improvement. Email confirmations and reminders are a must though. Follow up- being able to pull GET requests via the API for Event Attendee’s so we can take our own action when someone signs would be helpful.

Subscriptions and Email Frequency

Hi folks. I wanted to ask if there are limits on the number of emails sent out for a particular question on the community.For example, a colleague of mine subscribed to a post. When he checked his email later, he had an email alerting him to a new response.He clicked on the link to View Post and saw there were actually 7 responses.So is there a reason that he didn’t get 7 emails?We want to make sure our support staff are up-to-date on community forums, and I’m not sure what the logic is about when emails are sent out.Any thoughts appreciated,Mark

Event Registration - Community/External HybridOpen

We host a lot of events in our community which we use an external link for registration through Zoom webinar. However, I’m currently still posting those events using the Community Event registration option because we have found that more folks RSVP when they can see who/how many others are attending. A hybrid option which still shows that data in the community but links folks to the external RSVP when they choose attend would be ideal.

An option for custom fields to be viewable, but not editable.Closed (Won't Do)

I’m playing with custom fields and they’re great because I can store and read custom information using the API, which is a great way to integrate other parts of our user experience. For example, I can create a custom field that counts every time a user watches a webinar, and they earn a badge for watching 10 of them.What I’d like is for that field to be visible, but not editable by the user. In the above example, if I make the custom webinar count field visible to the user, they can edit it! I’d like them to know what the field is, but not be able to change it for themselves.The other scenario I’m toying with is reward points that can be earned and redeemed and a custom field seems perfect, as long as the user can’t just edit it to whatever they like!

Reset reply notifications after a set amount of timeDiscovery

Currently a notification will be sent when you have read a topic and a new reply is posted. But if you miss that reply for some reason, you don't get a new notification when someone else replies after.Would it be possible to have a setting to add a timer (for example a couple of weeks) so there will be a new notification if a new reply is posted after a while?
