Support for Negative number fields for custom insightsNew Idea

We have several fields we bring over into Staircase for license use. One of these is Month over Month change. This could be a positive number (they are using 50% more) or a negative number (they are using -50% less).Although I was able to add an insight for license growth over 25%, I was not able to add a license decrease for less than -25 (this would always show 0 customers). For now I added an insight for less than 0, but ideally would like to use a negative number as less than 0 will only show a decrease than since last month where less than -25 would show a more significant decrease.In my case this is for license use, but I think you will find many numeric fields may have a negative and the ability to build insights on those negative values would be very helpful.

How To Erase A User From Your Community

The right to erasure, also referred to as the right to be forgotten, is one of the main principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It sets a new standard for how companies use and protect EU citizens’ data and applies from 25 May 2018. The Regulation describes erasure as the process by which information is rendered inaccessible and unusable for all relevant parties. Personal data can be erased in a number of ways, including by masking the relevant personal information, so long as the erasure is irreversible, even by the institution carrying out the erasure process. That is also known as the anonymization of personal data records. You can erase a user via our API, or by using the ‘Erasure User’ feature available on the user profile page in Control. Is it possible to subscribe users to user group in bulk?

Hi,recently we’ve migrated to GS and none of the subscriptions were transferred. We’ve already notified our users but we have a large number of customers who really value their user group. Since there’s quite a lot of members and all of them would like to be subscribed to the content there, is there a way we could subscribe them in bulk on their behalf? In other words, is there anything we can do to make every member be subscribed to the group without them going and doing it themselves? Thank you in advance!

Creation of Onboarding Checklist

Good afternoon,I'm looking for some advice on setting up a self-serve onboarding experience for new customers using Gainsight PX. I have a detailed plan, but I'm encountering a few challenges with the new Knowledge Center Bot editor.My onboarding journey consists of four main checklist items, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to structure them in the new editor: Configuration Setup: A multi-step guide with 11 individual sets of tooltips. I need this checklist item to show a progress bar (e.g., "5/11 complete") as the user progresses through the guide. Video Guide: Core Functionality: A video walk-through. Video Guide: Mobile Experience: Another video walk-through. Final Activation Step: A final celebratory pop-up. My main confusion is how to properly link these multiple engagements to a single checklist item, especially the "Configuration Setup" guide that has so many steps. I’m not sure how to configure a single item to track progress across 11 different guides.Any advic

Custom Menu - Search Functionality

Hi all! I’ve looked around in the Community for this info already and while I’ve picked up a few stray threads here and there, it seems like what we’re doing is a little “wild west.” 😅🤠We’re styling a fully custom navigation/mega menu using a combo of HTML, CSS, and JS, using the custom Header, Third-Party Scripts, and CSS areas. We’re 95% of the way there in our sandbox, but are having trouble getting the search button to appear in the new nav. We can’t seem to isolate the original elements to get it to display and function correctly so that we can style it and be done with this endeavor. I’m curious if anyone has done anything like this, at least with the search specifically, and could offer tips or point us in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

Gainsight has now added Viewer+ Analytics (paid) license which enables all stakeholders (such as Leaders or Sales persons) to better understand trends in your customer base with access to actionable insights that span your entire book of business. Users with this license can access additional features (than Viewer licensed users) such as Horizon Analytics Dashboards, CX Center (if purchased) and Renewal Center’s Analyze View (if purchased).IMPORTANT: Viewer+ Analytics license type only works with Horizon Dashboards. As an admin, you must migrate your tenants to Horizon Analytics in order to leverage this feature. What is Average when looking at a Stakeholder's relationship detail?

When looking at the relationship details between an employee and stakeholder, the details frequent reference “average”. What is that average based on? Average compared to their normal interaction patterns, other stakeholders on the account, average across all stakeholders, the tier? And is it the same for response time, sentiment, formality, etc?

Adding to the pile of posts about the lack of parity between old JO and Dynamic JO programs, you should be able to have email templates with variants without filters in a program.There are several scenarios where a template may be used across multiple programs that do not have a need for the same variants. Old JO required any tokens be mapped even if it wasn’t an actively filtered variant (which was also silly), but at least it didn’t require a filter. In Dynamic - you have to apply a filter for every variant even if the variant doesn’t have anything to match to in that program.

Can the rule engine provide feature parity to manual operations on SP templates when applying additional templates? <support snip>Success Plan templates in Gainsight can only be applied once to a Success Plan through the rules engine, which is a confirmed limitation. This means that while you can apply templates manually multiple times, the rules engine restricts this functionality, and there is currently no option to remove this limitation.</support snip> Success Plan Action Type - Gainsight Inc.Append Templates: Select the templates that you want to add to the Success Plans. New templates are added to the list of existing templates. The templates that have already been applied are not applied again. This unexpected limitation has halted various process flows, it seems odd to have this limitation when it is possible manually without restriction.

Allow CTA Due Date to be based on date fields in Rules EngineNew Idea

I am currently setting up some rules to help manage our churn process and want to create a rule which creates a Churn CTA when the customer doesn't renew.   The process would look like: Renewal CTA created > Renewal CTA Closed Lost > Churn CTA Created.   When the customer confirms that they will not renew we populate their Renewal Date to a field called Churn Date.   When creating the Churn CTA I want to be able to set the CTA Due Date to the Churn Date. The issue is that it's only possible to set the CTA due date to the Run Date +X Days.   The create CTA action would be way more flexible and valuable if we had the following options for the CTA due date: Actual date based on a field (e.g. Churn Date) Actual date based on a field + X days (e.g. Churn Date + 5 Days) Run date plus X days (Already possible)

Customizable navigation bar with dropdown for external linksOpen

Hi,We're currently implementing Gainsight Communities and would love the ability to create a dropdown menu in the navigation bar for quick access to external resources like our partner portal, blog, etc.Right now, it seems that adding a dropdown with external links requires building a fully custom HTML menu, which doesn't dynamically adjust if we make changes to the community structure. This limitation makes it less flexible and harder to maintain.It would be great to have more user-friendly options to customize the navigation menu, especially with a simple dropdown for external links that can adapt to structural changes in the community.Thanks for considering this enhancement!

It would be great to support 2 additional languages, our customer base have a requirement for all systems they use to provide native language support for their users. As we are using Gainsight for the community and knowledge base for our customers there has been an ask to request these to be added.

Custom Pages can be very useful, but there are some issues with them:If you have a lot of Customer Pages on the backend, you have to scroll through a long list of pages. Can we have a way to create folders for them and / or categorize them on the backend Custom Pages do not belong to a Category on the front end -- Since we show different customer pages to different personas (custom roles), we would like them to roll up to a category You have no analytics on Custom Pages. They do not show up in your analytics dashboard. So we have to use Google Analytics to track traffic to those pages. This is sub-optional.Thanks

Hi there,at the moment in the Dynamic content widget I can sort by e.g. number of views and then choose to only show content published in the last X days.This way I can show e.g. “most popular content published in the past month”  What I additionally would like to do, is to have a widget that shows “most viewed content in the past month” which actually looks at when these views took place.this would make it easier to highlight some popular content that might be old but might be particularly relevant in the given month (e.g. seasonal topics) What I mean is a ranking like we get in the Content Dashboard. Over there, if I filter by a given timeframe, it shows me the amount of views, replies, likes within a given timeframe, regardless of when the topic got published.Cheers,Daniele

Let’s save our dear and so important user groups eyes - moderator eyes! Please build dark theme to the Control.Moderators can spend 8 hours or more, viewing Control and different views there. Dark theme would be more gentle for their eyes.Of course there are more user groups who benefits this as well, Community Managers, admins and so on.Dark theme is basic stuff in many communities, apps and web pages nowadays. Hopefully inSided offers community and Control with dark theme for us.Thanks.

Dynamic Content Widget fixed postsNew Idea

It would be really helpful to be able to have a few fixed posts on the landing page similar to the dynamic content widget but with personal selected topics.That way you could present the newest important updated directly on the landing page. At the moment I’m using a head banner to highlight the most recent or important update. But depending on how big your product is or if there are multiple important updates in a short time frame, it could be helpful to pin them as a list on the landing page,
