Discuss Gainsight Products

Hello all! Not sure if this is the right category for my question (if it’s not, feel free to change it)…. In general, is there a possibility to provide a kind of overview here in the community of all webinars/events that have been recorded? Maybe it already exists but I cannot find it.There are some interesting upcoming events (for example this and this) but they are in the late afternoon / evening (I’m based in Germany) when I cannot attend. Thanks and best regards 🙂Eva

Hi,Is it possible to change the color of a specific (moderator) the rank title via CSS? I know about the settings in the back end but I specifically mean a specific rank title. I tried some stuff but I can't seem to target 1 specific rank title.💁🏾

Hi there,  I am trying to add a new moderation label. I have added the label and then I save it. When I go to the topic that I want to add the label to the label doesn’t appear. We have tons of labels in our community. Is there a limit to how many you can have? What else could be the fix.  Thanks!

Hi everyone, Our Business model is B2B, and we have a Community in order to educate and connect our members. Most of them are our customers as well. Currently, we are a community of support, and we also would like to go more into the direction of Community of practice to be appealing to everyone working in the HR Industry. Some members of our superuser program have asked if we can add a category for job searches and offerings. My Questions now: Do you offer a category with job searches in your B2B communities? I’d love to hear how this is working and who is moderating this category.  I was thinking of implementing a category with all kind of things that are not strictly related to Product or Industry discussions. Like a development category. Where people can post when they read a good business book, are looking for a job or attended a course. We also have an academy attached and could post newly released courses as well. Do you offer something like that? Does someone have experience, th

I need to remove a former Admin as a user from our team, but before I do that, could you explain to me what happens to the content etc that she has posted in our Community? Will her posts/replies still be visible for our members to reference?

Why can’t members of Gainsight platform forums change their login email address? Is it a security decision? Do admins changes these on request?

When using the share to email from a timeline entry all of the timeline info goes into the email body and has to manually be deleted. If we use Meeting, Update or Milestone these bold sections appear and the meeting type, sentiment, etc. appear.  Is there a way to remove these or is the only solution to use an Email activity?

Hi Team,We had picklist sync job in connectors 1.0 that made our life easy but with connectors 2.0. I don’t see that option to sync newly added picklist values from SFDC to Gainsight. Could you suggest best approach to handle this situation of syncing new values added in SFDC to be synced to GAinsight.

If you’re a data nerd like me, 🤓  it can be quite exciting to see PX usage data in CS. No longer do CS team have to remain in the dark to find answers to burning questions, like:“What are the most popular features?” “Who are my customer’s power users?” “What engagements are getting the most views?” The benefits of gaining access to usage data in CS are endless. But what about NON-usage data? CS teams have often ponder questions like:“What users have NOT seen the PX NPS Survey engagement?” CS teams may choose to email NPS surveys via a Journey Orchestrator to those users who have not seen the in-app survey engagement  “Who has NOT used any golden features this month?” CSMs could use this information during a customer’s Executive Business Review Valuable NON-usage data like this requires some additional configuration to become visible in CS. Let’s consider the use case below to explore how: Users are onboarded via a series of in-app PX engagements. The CS and Education teams would like

We’ve loaded a font-face script to define a custom font name and address, and we’re using that in our front end font selector. It work’s a treat.  How can we use that custom font in system emails?

Hi Folks, Trying to shuffle our CSM’s patches and use a CSV to data load owner changes in Gainsight NXT. Ideally, my operation would look like this:Use CSV report from Company object to modify Gainsight Owner ID to new owner Load data in Gainsight using GSID as my key Ownership for company would change once load is completeAny help here is appreciated!

We use the keyword blocker for profanities.  If a member posts a topic and a word is included in the list, it will get moved to a ‘pending’ folder for moderator review.  We’re thinking we could add some typical account / personal information words, to help automate posts being hidden till a moderator is in and able to edit the posts.  Examples: date of birth, dob, DoB,  Then there’s REGEXs. Can we add regular expressions to this list?

For ideation in the community - wondering how best to import ideas (we currently use another tool to capture ideas and feedback). Is it possible to import everything and who has voted?Additionally is it possible to vote on someone’s behalf? We hear a lot from our customers that they want a product feature, so want to reduce the barrier of having to ask them to go in and vote and instead do it for them. Is this possible?

Hello there, Education Friends!   My name is Kat Kenny and I lead the Customer Success teams here at Gainsight for our CE (Customer Education; FKA Northpass) and PX (Product Experience) products.  CSMs are here to help provide industry and product best practices, thought leadership, and aligning on your goals to ensure we are customizing recommendations to help achieve desired outcomes.  Ultimately, we want to ensure you are getting value from our product and that you are able to measure the impact to the rest of your company. Scale & Efficiency I think we’re all feeling and hearing that we are in the Era of “Do More with Less”.  Especially since AI has entered the picture, companies are looking to understand how to become more efficient, scale their efforts, and identify more 1:M methods to exponentially increase efficiency and decrease cost to serve(here’s a great blog post about how Customer Education and Community play a big impact on this topic!).  This also increases stickin

Hello Gainsight PX Family! We’re gearing up to have an incredible Pulse this year in St. Louis (new location!) and we want YOU to share your story and take the stage!  This year’s Pulse is really focused on Customer Impacting SaaS - this includes Customers Success, Product, Community, and Customer Education!  💫 HERE is our speaker nomination form💫 We often get a lot of questions around “How can I set myself up for success to get selected to speak at Pulse?”  Well, we’re here to help!! I'm going to list out some advice to help set you up to increase your chances of being selected - it doesn't need to hit all of these points, but the more the better! Format - Problem, Solution, and Outcome Keep in mind the power of storytelling with data!  Avoid using vague statements like “We saw a HUGE increase in X” but rather “We decreased X by Y% which resulted in $Z/ #Z, etc...Problem/Challenge - What did this situation look like before you intervened with Gainsight products (with measurable b

Can we add a custom page to a group? Scot

I believe this is rather easy to accomplish in Excel, but I’m struggling in Gainsight both with the Report Builder and even with Data Designer. Here’s an example:    I want to report on a rolling 3-month CSAT average, shown week over week. Right now I only have a few weeks’ worth of data, so here’s what I’m dealing with.   Week 1 (let’s say 11/1-11/7) had scores of 5, 4 and 3 Week 2 (11/8-11/14) had scores of 5 and 5 Week 3 (11/15-11/21) had scores of 5 and 3   When putting “Avg CSAT” in the show and “response date” in the by, our report builder shows that as an "average" CSAT as 4.0, 5.0 and 4.0 for those three respective weeks - i.e. it’s putting each week in a silo.   Whereas I want to see it as 4.0 for week 1, then 4.4 for week 2 (5+4+3+5+5=22 (total score) divided by 5 responses), then 4.29 (5+4+3+5+5+5+3 = 30/7) for week 3. Has anyone figured out a creative solution for this?

Currently, the pre-determined date ranges are a bit weird, especially early in the year as most of them are based on the fiscal year. It provides the current options: Current Month, Quarter, half year, year, etc, which are very limiting in the first part of the year. Can an option be added to do rolling X months? Whatever the industry standard is? We do rolling 12 months, but I read that most should be doing rolling 3 months. I know we can use the Last X days option, but based on what I have seen, once that option is selected certain options become unavailable since it’s “customized”.

The average time to response metric in the success dashboard is helpful, but we’re looking at the median equivalent. I’m trying to figure out a way to use the existing data exports to calculate the median time to a response. Any recommendations?

Hello, is there anyone with experience in incorporating OEM partners - those who sell technology under their own brand, not ours - into a community? I'm seeking best practices and insights on effectively integrating such partners onto our community. Thanks,

I wanted to open up a conversation and highlight an article published under the radar but with wide impact. At the end of 2023 we, the Community Team, worked with our CS Ops Team to investifate the connection between community engagement and operational business outcomes. This is a V1 and we will be expanding/refining in the coming months. We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas!!! Happy New Year 🥳 (can still say that right ???)

Hello,I’m wondering if it’s on the GainsightPX roadmap to track session replays. Seems like there’s a lot of consolidation in this space with competitors recently announcing this capability. Thanks!

Good morning everyone! I was wondering how I can make token text bold when creating email templates? If anyone has any help they can offer that would be great - thank you in advance 🙂
