We’d like to explore if it is possible to add an explanatory pop-up text for sticky posts on the Activity feed. We received feedback from our members that it is not clear what the darker grey section and the bookmark symbol mean.  The idea is to have similar pop-up like for the topics with Best Answer:

We have a need to have a public group, but the information in the public group is only for the group, not all audience, this why it’s a group and not a category.I don’t want posts that are in a public group to show up in the general activity feed.  Posts should only show in the general activity feed if you are a member of that group. Is this possible to do with coding,if not, can you make this improvement. Thanks

At my last company, we automated some ranks using custom roles like outlined here: Shoutout to @rcochran and his team for making that happen. At my new company, I have a similar use case I’ll likely explore this for. However, the one missing piece of functionality is forcing a rebuild/refresh/recalculation of ranks. So I’d love to see this added and avoid the daily/weekly manual rebuild required with the current setup. Even a way to trigger a rebuild in the API would be a good solution. Since the custom role can be assigned via the API, that would allow a custom role and rank rebuild to be triggered in tandem.

Provide a way to toggle between read and unread private messages on the front-end. Many community members rely heavily on private messages and there’s no easy way to identify the unread messages when there are lots of messages in their history in /inbox/overview

At present, if you invite someone to a group and they don’t accept, you can still invite them to join. I would like to have to ability to see who has been sent a group invite already so that I don’t double-invite someone.

Many community managers need a way to proactively highlight important content without relying solely on homepage banners or featured topics.I'd like to see a native Promotional Pop-up (or Announcement Campaign) feature that allows administrators to display a customizable modal dialog to visitors when they enter the community or specific pages.Examples include:Promoting annual customer conferences (such as Ignite) Announcing product launches or major releases Highlighting webinars and live events Driving awareness of new documentation or training Sharing important service announcements Welcoming first-time visitorsDesired functionalityAdministrators should be able to configure:Rich text editor with images and branding Primary and secondary call-to-action buttons Display delay (for example, after 2–5 seconds) Frequency controls Once per session Once per day Once per week Until dismissed Page targeting Homepage only Specific product pages Knowledge Base Forums Entire community Au

Currently, quoting a post strips out most formatting, preserving only basic styles (bold, underline, and italics). Custom font colors and code block formatting are lost during quote rendering. In a developer community where users frequently share code snippets, losing proper code block syntax and formatting makes quoted content difficult to read.

We would like support for both API access and an MCP server interface for Query Builder and Formula Query Builder reports. Our use case is to automate retrieval of Query Builder report results and load them into external analytics platforms. Today this requires manual exports and does not scale.Requested capabilities:List saved Query Builder reports Execute a saved report Retrieve report results programmatically via API Access Query Builder reports through an MCP server so AI agents and automation tools can discover and consume report data directlyThis would enable automated reporting, telemetry integrations, agent-based workflows, and AI-driven analysis without relying on manual CSV exports. It would also help customers integrate Gainsight PX data into modern analytics and AI ecosystems more easily.

We recently deployed relationships to our CSM's and are very pleased with the more focused view on their customers. The one 'gap' that' we have ran into is the ability to view child account data at the relationship level. We organize our relationships by product and a parent account will often have multiple child accounts under it representing different divisions. They have separate contracts which is why they are on different accounts but when it comes to business reviews, we need are now missing the simplicity of clicking a button to aggregate all accounts together for presenting metrics to the customer.  Is it on the roadmap to add this functionality to the relationship level?

I just added a new group, but it defaults to now being the last group on the groups page. I’d love the ability to be able to re-order these as the newest one should be grouped with the other groups that align with that theme. Ie. as you can see from the attached I have groups that are location-based, industry-based and product-based. I would like this newest group to be with the industry-based groups not the product ones. Thank you!

Hi,Users that are subscribed to a category do not get the topic title in their email subject whenever a new topic is created. As seen in the reply by @Julian, perhaps this was due to avoiding titles being too long. Our most active users (without access to Control) would like the {topic_title} variable enabled for new topics, as it would make it easier for them to engage with topics of their interests.

Currently the agent accesses an MCP with the current user's community permissions. So, you need to be an admin/moderator to have full access to community data. We would like to be able to grant full read only access to some employees without having to give them admin on the community. So, we want to request custom role based MCP permissions in the community to grant the various levels of MCP access.

some fields are not as descriptive as they need specifically with drop-downs and multi-picklists. It would be nice to be able to add help text to these fields to describe in further detail what the CSM should pick.

We’d love to remove product feedback/ideas from the AI Summaries and answers as those are not the best first stop for users when asking a question

Currently AI Tags will suggest tags from the exisiting list of tags but also tags that don't exist. It will still suggest new tags if users don't have the right to create new tags.I see this as a loophole for users to still select the suggested tags and thus create new tags though they are not allowed to do so.Therefore the AI Tags should not suggest new tags if users do not have the permission to create new tags.

Hi,Currently, the tag cloud widget populates on tag popularity across our entire community. It would be great to have the tag cloud widget adjusted so it pulls data and populates from the section it’s applied to.In my opinion, this would work nicely with the updates Gainsight made to individualize knowledge base category pages. If updated, users would be able to: a) get an overview of the most popular tags within a sectionb) browse content that used a particular tag within a section

Hi,If a topic creator marks a best answer, they get a notification and an email. Since the topic creator made this interaction, there’s no need for the topic creator to be notified - this should be reserved to other participants in the topic.

Our users would like to have exact time stamp on a topic: "No clear and exact time stamp on a topic, other than week-month ago etc."
