I know we can use the rules engine to post things to a Slack channel, but is there any ways to bring Slack channel conversations into an accounts Timeline?

When I request user data via API, we get the total topics but this is a total across articles/questions/discussions.Is there a way to get this total for each?

We’re just starting to get useful product usage data. I’m planning for the future here as I note that there’s a Product Usage widget on the Account page in Staircase - could someone share how that data is populated? I’m very interested in leveraging it, if possible, to create Insights and possibly Lifecycle Events. Thanks!  

Hi We're making an improvement to Gainsight Home based on feedback we've received, and we'd love your input before we finalize the approach.What's the current behavior? In the Summary ribbon, when there are fewer than 6 groups, the groups repeat themselves on scroll to fill the available space. Several of you have flagged this as confusing - it's not immediately clear why the same groups appear more than once.What are we changing? We're planning to remove the repeat/looping behavior. Instead, the ribbon will scroll only through the actual groups available and stop - even if that means there's some empty space at the end when there are fewer than 6 groups.Why this tradeoff? I just came across an odd situation. I was loading some data into MDA (creating zeros so the time series charts look right) and selected "first day of last week" as the date value. When I checked the file, the "first day of last week" according to the rules engine was 2/27/16, which is right because my Time Granularity under Usage Configuration is set so the week starts on Saturday. (Why Saturday? No idea... That's just what we did back when! :-) But when I group the data by week in the MDA report I get the week starting on 2/29/16. It's easy enough to fix in this use case, but it could through some people off so I thought it'd be worth highlighting.

Hi all, Is it possible to add a Create a post button lower down on the page than the one in the top header? I have been running some beta calls with some of our early adopters prior to launching in January and the main thing coming back is that the create button is not in the expected place when a user is in a category itself. they are expecting it to be at the top of the category feed. I can’t find a way to customise the category pages in this way, is it possible? Thanks!Ellie

When creating event listings in Gainsight CC, end time is currently a required field. For many use cases this works fine, but it creates friction for in-person, multi-day events like conferences, summits, happy hours, etc. where a specific end time isn't always known or relevant.The ask: make end time an optional field on events, similar to how some calendar tools allow you to create all-day or open-ended entries.Why this matters:- Multi-day conferences often don't have a set end time per day, or the event itself spans several days without a meaningful "end" to log- Forcing an end time leads to workarounds like entering a placeholder time (e.g., 11:59 PM), which is confusing for usersThe ideal behavior would be: if no end time is entered, the event simply displays with a start date/time only.  

Feels like there should be a way to do this, but I can’t figure it out. Scenario: We have a handful of groups where we want to exclude the group members from receiving our community newsletter. I’ve created a segment with these members, however there doesn’t seem to be a way to say “Email Campaign, don’t send to this segment”, or better yet, to create a segment that excludes another segment. And while I can use filters to say that I don’t want people in X, Y & Z groups, that only returns members who are in other groups, just not the ones that I indicated. Excluding the bulk of our members who are in no groups. Any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated! 

We really love the Group Send functionality and see great time savings in our CS org being able to reach out to customers this way. One key requirement for us as a business, is for us to have visibility in SF of any customer communications via email/phone. Since Group Send emails sync to SF as tasks, the email contents are not displayed.We use bcc to SF addresses for any email outreach, however I understand that admin can set a bcc field. Each SF user has their own unique bcc to SF address. Is anyone using Group Send functionality and has visibility of the emails sent in SF?

Apologies if I’m missing something obvious, but in Gainsight CC is there a way to allow multi-line signatures so folks can put a job title or company name underneath their name?
