Hi folks.I’m wondering if there is any way to add a URL to an automated email that includes a unique link for that user. Maybe insert the user ID in there, like myURL/page?userid=[userId]. That sort of thing.I’m aware of the inSidedData object, but I suspect that won’t work in an email. So would the way be to link to a custom page on the community and do a redirect from there?Basically, I’d like to have a call to action in the email, that sends a notification to our support team, and obviously they need to know who the notification came from.Any thoughts or suggestions welcomed,CheersMark

Challenge: In my beta program group, it’s hard to identify what the latest beta programs are. Any new comment on a program that’s 4 months old comes to the top of the topic rollup.I want to clearly feature the latest programs on the group page. What I get (below) when I add these topics to be featured doesn’t look nice. They aren’t articles so don’t have images (the PM’s that create these topics don’t have admin access), and it could do with a title about the topics to call out ‘Latest programs’.Has anyone figured a better way to do this. Or cld share some CSS for adding a heading to the featured topics section…? 🙏  

Hi there,New to Gainsight, and first time posting. Scrambling a bit to try to get my first in-app campaign pulled together.I’ve made some progress, and I’m at a point where I’ve created a tooltip, and am able to preview it in-app.The challenge I’m facing at the moment is that the location of the tooltip is a bit whack (centered below the ellipses button, bleeding off the screen, and detached from its little arrow) and I’m not sure how best to reconfigure it. The template editor seems to lack any features that would allow me to position the tip in a logical position (to the right of the button, with the arrow pointing left, to the button). I get the sense that maybe this is possible with CSS, but my CSS skills are non existent.Looking for suggestions for documentation, other threads, or any other places where I might be able to find some code snippets that I could tinker with?Thanks in advance for any assistance!

It seems that when you view the Results from Control it displays the post´s original location (=category). But, if you export Report to csv, there you can see the location where the post is moved (if it is moved). Why the moved posts and their location cant be seen from Control, without exporting them to csv? There are times when I dont want to export data and the subforum data should be ok, no matter where to look at. When I export Analysis report to csv, all the posts doesn´t have subforum & post creation time & username data? They have only postID & post_url & post_description data and nothing else.

Hello everyone, I have 2 questions here.We are in the process of implementing a new KB platform. I am trying to create a custom page that will direct the users to the new KB. I am trying to edit this page to make it look nice with a hero banner with no success.  The banner looks weird and doesn’t fit the screen.  Also - I am wondering. Is it possible to custom a page with a link to our new KB, that will be presented every time when a user is using an old KB link? Something like:“We’ve moved! Check out our new KB here”? Thank you!  Idan  

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, we do not want our programs to send an email this Thursday.  How do we pause and resume our programs to avoid conflicting with the sync schedules and wait timer? For example, a program enrolls qualified customers every Thursday, followed by a 7-day wait time, so the customer receives an email every Thursday. Do I need to pause the program the Wednesday before and resume a week later so it doesn’t mess with the wait timers?

I’ve looked through the documentation and also tried my luck on training videos on YouTube with no luckWe would like to do a dashboard where the data is editable (drop down menu is fine) Example Dashboard Field: Engagement Priority -- Values are None, Low, Medium High Dashboard would display this field with the current value (we have that working)** We would then be able to click on the field and then update the value just through the dashboardExample: Change the Engagement Priority from Low to Medium...and then have that change get committed to the actual dataIs this possible?  We have been looking for a while on thisThanks so much -- happy to be redirected to another thread if there is a good example out there as well

We are building out some example content to help with our customization of the platform before launching. When I submit an idea, it shows as a topic but doesn’t actually show the idea. Am I doing something wrong?  

Hello! For security purposes, many CRMs inform the admins when a big data export is performed by a user (or another admin).I haven’t found such option in Gainsight.Do you know if there’s something that can be enabled to track it? Thanks!

This question goes out to the Gainsight team… What plans do you have for Gainsight DH to to leverage AI and/or Machine Learning? Are there any features in discussion for 2024? At Pulse 2023, customer success got the AI love, but I have not heard a peep about it relating to community.

Hi All, I’m writing to see if anyone has any tips on reigning in dashboards and reporting with their executive team. Right now, we have over 760 active reports and 46 dashboards. My executive team wants to see every report broken down by product, region, service tier, solution, program, as well as over time. In addition, they don’t want to use global filters because they want the graphic to show comparisons over each of these characteristics above. Because there’s a limit to 30 widgets on a dashboard, I have to create an Executive Dashboard 1, Executive Dashboard 2, etc. It’s been overwhelming maintaining this much reporting and dashboards for our teams (especially when we’re still new to Gainsight and foundational changes are still being made). I’ve tried to narrow the scope and focus our leadership team on (1) Defining the purpose of the dashboard (2) understanding what KPIs should be included (3) and align on t

Is there a way to autocorrect words in topics or conversations? In particular, hoping for our company name to be autocorrected with typed incorrectly (second part isn’t capitalized). Is this possible?

Is there a way to create a report that shows week over week changes? I would like it to show the Current Score for the current week and the Previous Score from the week prior. Also any changes in the measures would be great as well.

Hello! I am looking to set automated triggers for the following groups:1. Users who registered 1 week ago and have not contributed yet2. Users who performed their last activity 3 months ago 3. Users who performed their last activity 2 weeks agoI have a few questions for each group:1. The trigger is listed as "registered after ___ days", does this mean when I create this email, everyone who registered after this many days will be contacted right away? Will this include users who have contributed already? 3. Will all users who performed their last activity 2 weeks ago be contacted right away after constructing this email? If so, does that mean users who I want to setup the email for after 3 months also be contacted?Thank you!

We have an advanced program that collects survey responses using multiple choice. Is it possible to use the response/answer data in a rule to generate a CTA? If so, what object would the survey response/answer be found in?  

I’m here as advised by your Support Team. They mentioned that they are working on a sprint already on this feature and will be be able to use it by Third week of DecemberIn my use case; I receive around 90-140 notifications in a day. Because of the hard limit of 50 notifications in the notifications Bell Icon. I need to open a different page (cockpit) rather than dashboard to refresh the notifications. On a lucky night, i get to get the remaining notifications. But 90% of the time. Those notifications are missed due to the hard cap and the notification is lost except for email. As mentioned. I know you guys are working on a solution to be able to scroll down on the notifications and not limit it to 50 instead up to 150 notifications. We hope that this be executed and have a follow through. For those people experiencing this issue. Kindly add your upvotes on this post! Thank you

Has anyone ever had luck associating multiple contacts from Timeline back to SFDC Events? The use case is that if multiple external attendees exist in the Timeline activity, we’d like all those attendees to be loaded back to the Name ID field on the Event object. No matter what I try in the Rules Engine, I can only ever get one contact ID to load to that Name ID.

Why are my end users getting pop-up invitations to webinars of which I as the admin am not being made aware? 

This question is really to see if what I'm thinking is even possible/if there is a workaround. I created an Advanced Program Email Chain that is designed to send out an email to New Customers and have them pick a Verified Outcome by clicking on one of the three buttons below. When the customer clicks on one of the buttons it takes them to a specific Thank You page based on which button they clicked (3 links - one per VO). The issue I'm facing is I want to create a CTA based on which VO/Button they picked. If they picked Speed I want the CTA to indicate that is the Verified Outcome they chose. Is that possible to map in this type of program or would I have to use a Generic Survey instead?  

I am trying to build a rule for a Scorecard measure around ‘# of admins at a Company’.Admin status is a field on the Person Record, but the Scorecard is on the Company. I am aiming to map the data in the rule where an attribute of the person record (‘admin status’ = type 1, type 2) is a count associated with the Company.In thinking through it the logic sounds like ‘Count of Person GSID meeting criteria per Company GSID = Count of Admins’ but I am struggling with how to get the data there. Right now I have the person object filtered by the Admin types I want to surface, so that only those records populate, but how can I convert them to a ‘Count of’ by Company GSID in order to create the score criteria?Any thoughts?
