Hi Community! 👋I’m reaching out to see if anyone here has experience building a custom Community page using mostly (or entirely) HTML.We’re working on a custom landing page to support the launch of our new Customer Mentorship Program and would love to display all the key info—including an embedded Typeform opt-in—on a single page.Since we’re using a third-party platform for the peer connections, we’re hoping to avoid requiring a Community login to sign up (though joining the Community will be a strongly encouraged CTA!).One of my teammates is currently building the page from scratch, but they're running into an HTML error.If you’ve tackled something similar: Any best practices you’d recommend? Would you be open to sharing how you structured your custom HTML or letting us take a quick peek at your setup? Any tips or insights

Wondering how other users are handling the Blocked Emails list from bounces?We have been using the Email Validator to confirm if an email address is valid after an email has bounced. If the email address is not on the Deny List we are assuming that the email is valid and emails are being sent to that address. But customers are reaching out to us to advise they are not receiving our emails. We opened a case with Gainsight Support and they confirmed that:"How can we validate emails are being sent to customers after they have had an email bounce but the Email Validator confirms they are not on the Deny list?"The only option is to build a report on email log v2, check the email and reach out to support to get them removed. There's no other way for this. "Is the only way to confirm a customer is not on the Gainsight Blocked List to open a support case?"Yes. I’m unsure what the purpose of the Email Validator would be if we are

My requirement is kind of simple :)I am trying to enable OpenID connect based login for insided forum. The current behaviour is that even if OpenID connect based login is the only option available, clicking on the “Login” button opens up a popup similar to below. Click on Login PopupInstead what I want is to directly take the user to my OpenID Connect identity provider when the user click on the login button.The behaviour I expect is similar to https://community.zapier.com/ where the link on the Login Button directly takes

Does anyone have a solution for identifying who the visitors to the community are?

Hi All, I was wondering if it was possible to remove (hide) the date an article was posted from visitors to our Community.We’d only like to do this for the content in our Knowledge base where we’ve got articles that were posted just over 4 years ago, and whilst the content has been updated over the years the article still appears as being posted in 2018. The feedback we’ve received is that some visitors may feel that the content is outdated due to when it was posted. If this is not possible, do you have any suggestions of how to best approach this, without having to re-post the articles and losing the GA data and helpfulness rating?  Thanks,Nikhil

Community newbie over here!I was watching a training session recording (we are implementing CE), and by chance, realized that the number of replies in the top right menu vs clicking on my profile → replies doesn’t match. Is this intended behaviour? If that’s the case, what’s one counter including that the other doesn’t?  

Hi folks! How can I use images in Gainsight? Where should I upload and store them for use in custom sections?

I'd like to change the "Recently active" section to include additional options like "Recent Topics", "Questions & Doubts", and "Categories".At the moment, I’m unable to edit the "Recently active" field directly. Ideally, I’d like to have a sidebar menu where users can easily navigate between these sections—as if they were filters or viewing options.Would you be able to help me with this?

Could someone help me with some tips on how to identify a specific segment of users of a product who are members of the community? Currently I need to extract the list of community members and the list of users and compare them which is very manual and time consuming. Is there any more practical way of obtaining this information accurately?Thank you!

Greetings! I’ve been a Customer Success Manager for years, but never at a company that uses Salesforce and Gainsight. I have used Salesforce, but not Gainsight. I am excited for its potential - but have some questions about how to use it efficiently. As I delve into Gainsight, I am seeing that you can use a gmail plug in to help log communications to a customer’s timeline or manually add it yourself. That’s great!I have also learned that a lot of email campaigns come from the journey orchestrator. If I am sending my particular list of customers an email in Gmail and want to utilize mail merge - this would be something outside of the Journey Orchestrator as I do not have admin permissions to create campaigns - what is the most efficient way to get those emails on a customer’s timeline? Would that require manually logging each one?

Hey quick question, we’ve implemented federated search, but we wanted to see if we could get better search results by adding meta info/metadata to each result. Right now the info we can submit are: title, content, url and sourceBut are there any other sorts of info we could submit in the background and that could play in getting more accuracy in the results?

Hi dear colleagues,How do you analyze sentiment in your community? And also do deeper topic/theme analysis to identify trending themes in the community?I’m trying to understand if the only way is to involve data engineers or maybe there’s already a nice tool for this. I know Orbit could do this, but it’s no longer available after acquisition.

Hey I am trying to advertise content to non-logged in users on the landing page and hide some other widgets from them.Is there any possibility to make widgets visible or not to non-logged in users?

Customer is building out a Data Designer and I want to get a list of users that belong to a specific user group.  She have pulled in both 'User' and 'User Group' objects, but there doesn't seem to be a field to join these objects on.

Is there a way to link a standalone Objective CTA to a Success Plan? We have a CSM who created a standalone CTA to track a certain project and now wants the CTA to be nested inside a larger Success Plan. I’ve tried pulling the CTA record up in Data Management and couldn’t edit the Success Plan field. I also tried adding the SP ID in CTA layout and didn’t let me edit here either.

I’m using a Default Template >  Hero Image Dialog. When I go to add a new hero image, it places padding bars above and below the image. The gray bars above and below the image are what I want to adjust, specifically I want to at least remove the gray bar below the image. It is something specific to the cell the image lives within. However, Code view of the cell reflects nothing related to this HTML lists only the height and width of the image, not the cell. CSS doesn’t have anything obvious related to this There seem to be no WYSIWG settings The coloring of the padding bars seems to be nowhere to be found It doesn’t matter the size of the image I upload, it adds this padding above and below.
