Is this a bug or planned behaviour: Login to the Control forgets the destination url?

Should this be working like this:You are admin or mod and you are reading community topic. It requires some mod actions, so you click Control from bottom right bar, to open the topic in Control.If you are not logged in to the Control → You are forwarded to the Control Home after login If you are already logged in to the Control → You are forwarded to the topic view in Control and you can perform mod actionsIf this is planned behaviour, is it possible that if Control requires login, you are still forwarded to the topic view and you can do the things for the topic what you wanted.At the moment, if you are not logged in to Control, you have to go back to the community and click Control again after login.Small issue, yes, but small things makes difference when you open the topics for months and years.EDIT: Please edit title, “Is this bug or...”. Thanks.

Moderation of Attachments

Hello GainstersCan someone confirm for me that we DO NOT have the ability to hold any attachments shared by participants until a moderator has viewed them?Has anyone done anything in this area to moderate attachments and personal info?

How did you do the new Username icons on the new ranks?

@Kenneth R & team, How did you do the multi-star username icon on the new ranks?It looks like the suggested icon is 24x24 pixels, but multiple stars is much wider than that. Is it just as simple as uploading a wider icon? Or did you need to do something more custom?

初投稿です。ヘルススコアのレポートで実装したことがありコミュニティにご質問させてください 内容：先週と今週のヘルススコアを比較し、値が低下したカンパニー/リレーションシップレコードのみをレポートで表示させたい例：1: 2024/08/05 → 2024/08/12ではGreen→Yellowが+6件　　2: 2024/08/12 → 2024/08/19ではGreen→Yellowが+3件　　このように変化があった場合、　　1のケースでは8/12の週に確認した際には6レコードのみ表示　　2のケースでは8/19の週で確認した際には3レコードのみ表示直前に変化のあった顧客のみを一覧で表示させるために、実装したいと考えていますもし方法をご存じの方いらっしゃればご教授いただきたいです。また、別の方法などもあればぜひ教えてください！

C360/R360 UI Improvements

Please see the screenshot attached. Is there a way to make this hover a more meaningful like probably providing a description/help text for user to under what that data shows, instead of showing "Editing this field requires additional permissions. Please reach out to your Gainsight Administrator to request access." ? This does not make any sense and it would be nice if we can configure it to show some meaning text that is configurable by admins.

403 "Access Denied" Error when subscribing to webhook

Hello, I am trying to subscribe a URL (from Zapier) to the groups.MemberJoined webhook event according to the documentation here and am receiving an error message. I’m making a POST call to https://api2-us-west-2.insided.com/v2/webhooks/group.MemberJoined/subscriptions and have included my Gainsight credentials as username and secret in the body of my request. I also have a newly generated auth token that I’ve successfully been making other requests with. I continue to receive a 403 “forbidden, access denied” error. Would appreciate any guidance!

Gainsight AI - Does it use Associated Records for Timeline?

This is a question mostly for Gainsters: Does Customer Cheat Sheet, or whatever it’s called now, reference or have access to any of the Associated Records data?Based on the FAQ it does not seem that way, but I would like to confirm.https://support.gainsight.com/gainsight_nxt/07360/Customer_Cheat_Sheet/Customer_Cheat_Sheet_FAQs In general, I’d like to know if ANY of the AI features Gainsight has rolled out/is rolling out soon leverage any of the Associated Records data for Timeline, or only the main Timeline object.As admins, Associated Records data is rather challenging to use in Rules and such, so I’m wondering if the AI has the same limitation, and that data is being ignored.I understand that many use cases for Associated Records is just to associate a timeline entry from one CTA to another CTA for the same company, but as you can associate entries ACROSS Companies, not including that seems like an oversight, and I would like to get some clarity on this. Thank you!

Zapier: Trigger assigning of points when joining a group

Hi! Interested in using Zapier to assign points for specific actions (apart from the built-in gamification ones already in Gainsight). Is it possible to use the action of joining a particular group as a trigger event? I’ve read the documentation here and it seems like this isn’t currently supported, but wanted to double check.  @DannyPancratz I know you’re the Zapier wizard - have you ever done anything like this?

Ability to filter on all fields in Timeline custom view

On applying the filters over timeline custom view as I could see most of the fields are not exposed as filterable. One of the use case below.regarding the timeline tab - is it possible to create a specific timeline view based on Context Name? I have a customer from chat that wanted to try and build a timeline view only with CTA related timeline entries, just wanted to get a better idea of what field needed to be leveraged to filter timeline entries by source. Based on what I have seen, you can’t create a timeline view filter off of Context Name, and many fields from timeline do not appear to be getting exposed as filterable fields on the timeline tab

If I have a course that is shared across multiple learning paths, does completing it in one also mark it as completed in the others?

Record Type Visibility Permissions

We would like the ability to control visibility to certain records within an object for users. This will have implications on the user experience and ensure compliance. For example, we have a team selling working on X and a team selling product Y. We want CSMs who support Product X to only see Relationships that have a Type of X and CSMs who support Product Y to only see Relationships that have a Type of Product Y.

Currently to create Customer Goal-associated CTAs, you have to create a new CTA or link an existing CTA from the Customer Goals tab. Is it possible to create a CTA and link it to a Customer Goal directly from Cockpit?

Primary & Secondary Navigation

Hi all, new here, and to community in general.👋 Thinking through the layout of our community home page and seeing some communities that have a secondary nav bar located on the top left or right of page before the primary nav.  I like the idea of a secondary nav to link to our corporate website outside of community and also thinking we can link to other external pages. Is there a best practice with the secondary nav, or does it just boil down to preference?

Hide topic age in Topic Banner

Hi Community experts! I feel like this was asked a year or more ago, and perhaps even a workaround identified, but today is it possible to hide the topic age from being displayed in the Topic Banner widget? In my screen cap, you can see the yellow banner with our Welcome post - 1 year ago (although it’s been updated, etc.) This might be disregarded by the new member because they think it’s outdated with the age, so I’d rather just have the title alone.cc: @Julian @kfolsom

Field Look Up to Another Field with No Rule

On our user object, we have the user, user name, etc. and we also have that user’s manager which is a GSID (User ID). When building a scorecard widget I can go grab the CSM (User) but when I go to get the CSM manager, because it is one more level of drill down, I am only able to pull in the ID, it is not allowing me to go get the manager name. We have a CSM Manager field on the Company object and that is filled by a rule but it somehow consistently has issues. I would prefer to just have a lookup field. Is there a way we can create a new CSM Manager field on the company object, one that basically just looks up the manager based on the CSM without using a rule?

Updating the category thumbnail image, new image doesnt appear in the community?

Yesterday I updated the thumbnail images to a few categories. I noticed that the images were not updating to the community. I thought there might be a delay but they still haven't updated.Maybe this has something to do with Control's new look?I confirmed today that in the Control new thumbnail images can be seen. I have tested with other browsers as well, with normal and incognito mode.

Anyone else seeing a new interface on the homepage of Gainsight community?
